Doctor Choi, the nurses, and staff are amazing! After receiving my toric multi-focal intraocular lens I had near perfect distant vision within a few minutes of the surgery. When I woke up the day after my surgery, my up close vision became clear. This is the best my vision has ever been! Highly recommend Doctor Choi!

Got a letter from a debt collector. I called Doctor Choi office. Said I owed $50.00 from eye visit on January 2025. I told them I never received a bill. Very very rude person said it was mailed once. She said they sent emails which I never received. She screamed the dates of sent emails so fast I couldn't understand her. I told her I would just pay bill then. She said to late for that and wasn't her problem I didn't receive paper statement. Told me to call debt collector. I called and they were very nice and was shocked that I was talked to so rudely over $50. I have extremely good credit score so hopefully this won't affect it. Never been talked to so rude in my life. If you owe them anything...make sure you pay in full before you leave...which is what I thought I did. Unbelievable.

WARNING !!! DO NOT BE FOOLED BY DR. YOUNG CHOI'S WEBSITE: "Refractive cataract surgery goes beyond traditional cataract removal, offering unassisted vision, reduced halos and glares with night vision, and enhanced quality of life." Dr. Choi's charge for refractive cataract surgery is $6,000. After having had this surgery, performed by Dr. Choi, my vision is worse and the glares and halos at night are so bad that I cannot drive after dark. I had LASIK done 25 years ago, which the entire staff all knew, yet no one ever discussed the possibility with me that my vision could be worse due to LASIK. I have never left a review, positive or negative, in my life, but I feel the need to warn everyone this doctor clearly cares only about money, rather than his patients. My "quality of life" will forever be changed in a negative way due to him.

I am making this review on behalf of my husband, who was a cataract surgical patient. We chose to use Dr. Choi based on recommendations from others and reviews. Dr. Choi and his staff were friendly and personable. We were advised my husband would need to go to another location the day after his procedure to make sure all was well. That was fine, as we assumed his office might just be his surgical enter. The location we were sent to was an Eye Mart, where glasses are sold, and there was another physician was in attendance. I have had more surgeries than I have fingers, and have NEVER had a surgeon not personally check on my progress! It's unprofessional and shows a lack of concern about his outcomes. He happily accepted him as a patient and received payment from our insurance and us, but it appears he doesn't provide care beyond that. If you want a competent, compassionate, and thorough eye surgeon, I would not recommend this doctor or facility.

I had a great experience with Dr Choi. He performed cataract surgery on my right eye. I was seeing better on the way home! He and his staff were very friendly and professional. Highly recommend.

Dr. Young did an amazing job. Him and his staff were fast and efficient, friendly, and did such a great Job. Shout out to Carrie, the best eye surgery nurse/ assistant in the business.

Wish I could give 0 star. Before the Lasik, Dr Choi told us my brother vision will be much better and he can see a lot. However, my brother vision is just slightly better after the surgery. Also, my brother got double vision after the Lasik. Dr Choi told us he would not be responsible for it because my brother eyes was not straight since he was born. He recommend my brother to wear glasses to avoid double vision. He did not say it before the surgery. We wasted $6,000 for the Lasik but my brother eyes getting worse. We are very disappointed. Also, we had to wait more than 2 hours to be checked by Dr Choi. There are too many issues with this doctor office.

"Cautious" is the word I would consider with Dr Choi. Strongly recommend seeking other eye surgeons. Consider price, care experience with new UV variable lens adjustment and risks. .
