And that's what happened to me when I was seen by Dr. Fleckenstein at the Eagle River Vision Clinic. Not only was Dr. Fleckenstein thorough, kind, and brilliant, literally everyone in his office from the incredibly sweet, helpful, and professional Allissa who took my 'frantic' call, to the skilled technician that prepared me for my exam impressed me beyond words. Not to mention the clinic was absolutely immaculate. I'm so very grateful to have found an eye clinic like the Eagle River Vision Clinic!

I've been going to Eagle River Vision Clinic for six years. Staff is always friendly, prompt, helpful. Dr. Rob is a great communicator as well as an excellent optometrist. He walked me through what to expect for cataract surgery last year and fully answered all my questions before and after the surgery.

The doctor would not see my daughter for an urgent matter. She got wood shavings in her eye and we needed to know if there was anything left in her eye and how badly the cornea was scratched. We called, then came in to the office. I was fine with waiting, it was towards the end of the day. The doctor said no, he wouldn't fit my daughter's urgent eye care situation in, or even see her at the end of his day. We had to go into Anchorage and find a doctor that would help us. Thank goodness we found an awesome eye doctor that fit her in. Really disappointed in Eagle River Vision.

Eagle River Vision Clinc provides state of the art vision care. Dr. Rob and his staff spend time explaining what they are doing and what I needed to do to keep my eyes healthy. I always get thorough eye exams and I know I don't always need new glaases each year if there is not a big change in my vision. The office has a great selection of frames to choose that are with in your budget. I highly recommend Eagle River Vision Clinic.

I am very impressed with the clinic and the staff, as they were very helpful and pleasant in answering any questions I had.
Dr. Fleckenstein was thorough while explaining what he was doing as the exam was being done. He diagnosed the problem and put a plan in place to follow. A future appt was make to check on the progress of treatment. I felt very comfortable and confident in his care.

The staff at Eagle River Vision Clinic have always provided excellent, friendly service. I especially like Dr. Rob, who is technically savvy and very up on all the latest eye issues, plus he's super fun to talk to as well. He's always been honest with me and that is much appreciated in this day and age. I would highly recommend them for all your vision needs. In fact I like and trust them so much I drive 45 mins each way just to see them. They are worth it.
