Dr. Martha Barreto

So I am visiting my son in Phoenix and had been having some itchy, red eye problems and decided I needed to take action as the eye drops I was using were not effective... A quick Google search brought up the practice of Dr. Martha Barreto and she was close by. I kept my expectations low as I was from out of town and would need only one visit. Making appointment online was easy. I arrived early, was greeted enthusiastically by staff and had a short wait as I was early. First staff person I met who performed a general eye exam and gathered information, was upbeat, cheerful and gave clear directives. Dr. Barreto came in shortly after eye exam was complete. She performed a very thorough eye exam in order to diagnose. I did not expect that degree of thoroughness being a one-shot out-of-Towner deal. The surprise came when she told me it wasn't pink eye but overly active eyelash mites. Yeah our bodies are riddled with microbes and sometimes one species gets active. So she compassionately sent me home with prescriptions and a written out treatment plan for me to follow including a follow-up appointment!! I left a very very satisfied customer.. So if you need your eyes checked, go see Dr. Barreto. She has a better than average bedside manner.On a scale from 1 - 5 she is clearly an 8. Thank you to you and all your staff who welcomed me. You run a good show.

Very friendly office!! Dr. Barreto explained things very well and didn't make me feel rushed. Ashley is SUPER sweet and a great asset to that office
