We are deeply grateful to Barnet Dulaney Perkins Eye Center and the entire medical team for the exceptional care my wife, Veronica, received after a major workplace collision. We were injured while working, and as a result of the accident my wife suffered a detached retina, a serious and time-sensitive condition that required immediate, highly skilled professional care. Before coming here, we sought help at other facilities, including Associated Retina Consultants and additional providers, but the urgency and level of care needed was not addressed right away. When we came to Barnet Dulaney Perkins, the difference was clear immediately. The evaluations were thorough, the coordination between team members was seamless, and the surgery was handled without delay. We want to especially thank Dr. Melissa Pongratz and Dr. Jordan Graff for their professionalism, skill, and compassion during an incredibly difficult time. My wife is now in recovery, doing well, and--most importantly--she is happy. We are very optimistic about her continued healing and quality of life. This experience is particularly meaningful to us because I had eye surgery at this practice over 20 years ago with excellent long-term results. Dr Pongratz is the best! She is very thorough and super friendly. She is my favorite doctor ... she really cares about her patients.
