JCPenney Optical

Very happy with the friendly and professional staff at JC Penney optical. I have gotten glasses and eye exams here multiple times since I have lived in Lake Havasu City. It's easy to make an appointment without a long delay like other places in town. I was able to get in very quickly and see if friendly eye Doctor for my exam. The prices on glasses were very competitive and they even sent me coupons and specials by email. Especially like Catherine, who helped me order my glasses.

I went for an eye exam in January of 2022 and received a new prescription for eyeglasses. It was my first visit to this optometrist so I didn't know just what to expect; however, I did expect to be heard when I told him that I felt something was "off" with the final prescription that he gave me (I thought it was incorrect). Nearly $800 and three weeks later, I received my new glasses -- But couldn't see clearly out of them. The fuzziness was blamed on the prescription being new, as well as my astigmatisms. Turns out the prescription was way too strong (I could not see clearly whilst wearing them normally, but if I held them above my nose & away from my face, I could see near & far perfectly). I wound up having a second eye exam and the difference between that prescription and the first was drastic; still, I felt that something wasn't right. Fast forward to April. I've gotten my new glasses but again, my vision is extremely blurry while wearing them. I soldier on, although not being able to see clearly while wearing them is incredibly frustrating and annoying. I've been wearing my new glasses for a month & a half now, but when I wear them normally, my vision is hazy/blurry/fuzzy/whatever you want to call it. When ISN'T my vision any of those? When I'm holding my glasses above my nose & away from my face. I can't afford another eye exam (not that I'd want to go back to JC Penny) and without a referral and/or my insurance cards, I can't get an appointment with another eye doctor anyway, so I'm screwed. My advice to you is this: If you have astigmatisms or the need for a strong prescription, don't go to JC Penny because I don't believe you will be heard or your needs met 100%. Also, stay out of my way when I'm driving.

I just popped in. No appointment. They squeezed me in with Doc Shore. Super nice guy. I was in and out of the chair in like 5 minutes. Seriously. Ok. Then I get given to Jasmine(not sure on spelling). She goes through frames and helps me pick my Ray Bans. She tells me it will be about 2 weeks before I get a call. Oh, I had insurance I didn't know how to use. She saved me $300+. Way less than 2 weeks later, Jasmine calls. My glasses are ready. I went in and Kristen helped me. My glasses are friggin' rad! They fit great!! Jasmine put my bi-focal line in a perfect spot and Kristen adjusted my glasses so the line is actually level on my crooked head. All that and way way way less money than other places. I will be back. Big thanks to Doc Shore and his staff.

I have never received such kind and quick service. I am a huge fan of this place. You will not be disappointed!!

Stopped by to have my 2 year old glasses adjusted, I hadn't been able to wear for months. Jerry did a fantastic job with them and they fit perfectly.

Perfect Doctor,love the staff , Donna always smiling, only because Medicare didn't cover a little expensive for me.

Love my new glasses and sun glasses. Very happy with the service and the product. Will be back for sure.

By their attitude, it sounds like the ladies who work here hate their job. And they dont want to schedule an appointment on my time. Byeeee b!shes
