Nationwide Vision

I was a customer of the Nationwide Vision located at 20928 North John Wayne Parkway Suite C-6 in Maricopa, AZ. A few years ago, this Nationwide location performed an eye exam on me. It was different than all previous eye exams they have performed because the Optometrist was physically at a different location operating remotely and a staff member was onsite to assist her. Once I got the glasses, I discovered that the prescription was close but not quite right. The new glasses were better than my old pair, so I opted to live with it. My most recent visit was simpler, as I visited another Optometrist and I brought in my prescription. This time, the glasses I received were pretty close to what I have come to expect. As a sidenote, for the last couple years, Nationwide Vision has called me with automated calling equipment every couple months. Their calls initially appeared on my Caller ID as "Potential Spam", so I chose to not answer those calls. I know it was Nationwide Vision because a recorded voicemail was left for me, stating that I am overdue for an eye exam, and urging me to call them to make an appointment. This cycle repeated itself several times, but the last couple times it called me, my phone never rang. I received the same voicemail having never been aware I was called until my phone notified me of the voicemail. This is annoying, especially since I have my own independent Optometrist and Costco sells eyeglasses for a fraction of the amount charged by Nationwide Vision.

Amazing customer service for me and my kids. My kids are special needs and they have been amazing dealing with them. Rose and Jenn are the best people at the Maricopa location! I can't recommend them enough!

Everyone was super nice and friendly! The eye exam was straight to the point and quick, too! The staff worked with me and showed me nothing but politeness. Thank you!

Staff were very professional and welcoming. It was my 9yr old daughter 1st eye visit and the doctor made her feel really comfortable and let her know the importance of wearing glasses. She went in feeling like omg I have to wear glasses to walking out like yes I'm about to be so fly with my new glasses

What a great experience. The staff was wonderful and Dr. Cope is awesome. He did give me bad news about my vision but was very reassuring and compassionate.

The staff was very accommodating to me, especially when I was trying to pick out my frames...lol. Dr. Cope was very kind & professional. He explained everything during my testing & answered all questions I may have had...all in all, I would recommend Nationwide Vision. I've been there twice now, & will go back again.

Extremely poor customer service.. I was born with an eye disease called retinitis pigmentosa... I moved to maricopa from tucson, i don't drive because of my eye disease.. The lady made no effort to help me find a vision place that can take a look at my right eye... As a company and whole, it was nationwide that handled my cataract surgery.And all my vision problems, instead of referring me to a different place, the lady told me, I need to figure out a way to get back to tucson... I couldn't even get her to tell me where another nationwide with the medical center is... I left their office feeling like I was bothering her. She looked at me with so much disgust because I needed help... And all I needed was for her to direct me to another nationwide who could actually look at my eye, and her response was figure out a way to get to tucson... Very disrespectful

This location takes great care to ensuring I am selecting a frame that I like that will fit properly over the lifetime of the glasses. They are thorough in explaining insurance benefits and attempt to get you the best deal possible.
