Dr Kootman is amazing! I can't say enough great things about him as a cataracts surgeon! From the first visit where he completed his thorough assessment and explained the procedure and the various options available to me, to the actual cataracts surgery where he meticulously worked with the utmost precision and care and explained what he was doing each step of the way, telling me exactly what to expect and how I would feel during and after the procedure. I had my first eye done on Nov 16 and I am seeing 20x15 in that eye, and I had my second eye done yesterday, and I am seeing 20x20! Nothing short of amazing!

We were referred to the Arrowhead Eye Center for my father. He needed some help with his cornea. He ended up with a partial replacement surgery. The clinic staff and Dr. Kootman were great. Very up front on the procedure and treatment. My Dad now has better vision and so happy we were refered.

Dr. Kootman and his staff are awesome they truly care about their patients. Having eye treatments can be uncomfortable and they make the process tolerable, I would highly recommend this place to friends and family for eyecare.

I came in 3 weeks ago and was seen by Doctor Miller, this was without doubt the worst eye exam I have ever had on a number of levels, but the data doesn't lie....my prescription I received indicated the standard of my vision had become worse by 100% in the past 2 years, and I had bad vision to start. This wasn't discussed, just a prescription given. I didn't think my vision had deteriorated that much so just got another exam (at my own cost now) and the results were essentially the same as two years ago. How Dr Miller made her assessment I have no idea. Overall the office and demeanor of the staff was extremely unprofessional, I would not recommend this practice.

So very pleased with the outcome of cataract surgery by Dr. Kootman. He explain the procedure and the expected outcome. Definitely recommend him for cataract surgery and lasik laser vision correction.

I had an eye injury and have been at the office for 2 hours and JUST got numbing eye drops to stop the pain. I waited two hours for that. That was the first time I got to see the Dr. Haven't seen him since. Still waiting. Also no hand washing in between....

He did not answer my questions he was rushing and he left the room to see another patient in the middle of my appointment This is my experience that he wanted me to pay for
