I liked the selection of glasses they had for the exam +2 pairs for $100> deal. However, in order to get basic coatings like scratch resistant, blue light blocker or UV protection, it was quite a bit more than that. Like $200 more for those add-ons. When most glasses companies online include those or have them for waaaay cheaper.
Still, it's not a bad deal, but I would keep that in mind if you're going here for everyday glasses and you care about protecting your eyes!
However, that doesn't have anything to do with this specific location, I understand the employees can't control that, just a heads up for the people.
I will say about this location, the employees were extremely accommodating. They are really good at their jobs and I walked out with a prescription that is PERFECT for me, way better than my old one. They answered questions I had and went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable there. I am very grateful for the customer service I received today.
I've always gone to this place and never had an issue until today. The skinny pale girl with dark hair and bangs at the front has the worst customer service demeanor. Not friendly or welcoming at all, she didn't look up at me until the end of our convo and didn't smile once. It made me just want to go to a completely different location from now on. People spend a lot of money on their eye stuff, you could at least have friendlier staff in the front helping people.
Please do not fall for their "specials" I brought my son in for an eye exam and was planning on getting the two pairs of glasses. My son did not like any of the glasses that they had there, but I was going to get them anyways because that's all I could afford to get, however the girl in the office kept trying to Push me to get more expensive glasses. I ended up just paying for the prescription and finding the glasses that they had there for less money. When I submitted my prescription I got an email letting me know that there was some information missing from this prescription. When I reach back out to them. They told me that by law they don't have to release that information to me because I did not get the glasses from them. So pretty much their promo is just a way to get you to spend more money and if you don't spend More money they are not as helpful. Now I have to take my son to get an actual eye exam. That's actually valid somewhere else because this one is incomplete. The manager was not helpful at all. The employees did not even know what they were talking about when we went in and did the exam that should have been my red flag, but I ignored it Overall it was a horrible experience and will never ever go back to this place again
Was able to talk to Daniel to get a refund back because her prescription was pretty much useless. Anywhere else went in This morning My money back and Sonia was very argumentative and Rude . She did not want to give us a refund back without the prescription Much useless without the information that we needed after threatening to get a hold of her supervisor again she finally Gave us the money back.
I was seen here for an exam and to update my prescription. During the exam there blinking lights ended up triggering a seizure. My doctor let me go to a private room to get through it and then eventually leave when I could walk again. About a minute after he left, a woman came in demanding that I leave and told me I was not allowed in the room. I told her the doctor gave me permission and that I was about to have a seizure. She said she didn't care and that I need to leave immediately or she will call security. I asked her to let me stay for 5 minutes because I knew I was about to pass out and start seizing. She got increasingly annoyed at me and told me I need to leave now and to call someone to come pick me up. When I told her I had no one to come get me, she threatened to call security again. And she did. The security guard was also very rude at first accusing me of skipping my medication and the seizure being my fault. But she ultimately let me stay. I will be reaching out to get my report and making a complaint with this company and the security company as well. If i was having a heart attack I would have been treated much better I hope. There was no respect shown during a medical emergency.
I was scheduled for an Appointment on a saturday and I got in and out quickly and was given ample amount of time to choose my frames, their 89.95 deal was perfect. Free Eye exam included! Also I recently spoke with Christina over the phone at their location and she was very friendly and helpful with my requests/questions. I called in 5 minutes before close and she was still adamant about giving the best customer experience. I definitely recommend this location, five stars all around!
I gave 2 stars instead of 0 because the receptionist and the introductory exam people were wonderful , accommodating and prompt.
The problem was with Dr. Abe, total lack of professionalism towards my wife, seemed annoyed to have to clarify anything with a women.
He didn't seem to have a problem with me, but his tone from the beginning was lackluster. The short irritated answers with my wife were extremely rude, especially infant of my 6 year old. He even had attitude with one of the women in the front area when she was trying to clarify his mistake.
Hopefully someone can address his bedside manner, and let him know that just because he had to work a Sunday morning at Christown Mall, doesn't mean he has to act like a jerk and treat women like they are stupid.
Do better, act like a professional, regardless of gender. Will not return to this location, as it is it a reflection of the management to have this guy as your representative.
We had a wonderful experience at the America's Best location at Spectrum Mall. The office staff there is really quite exceptional. They have a great selection of frames to choose from you can get two pair of glasses for as little as $69.95 which includes the exam. They accept most insurance plans, which brings to the reason for this review our vision tech Junior was really great we were having difficulty getting my insurance approved, and he really went the extra mile to try to get me approved.
We got bounced to several departments over the phone, and even though he wasn't able to get me approved, we wound up getting two glasses for about the same cost as my deductible after utilizing a $50.00 off coupon which I had received in the mail. Thanks again, Junior, for being so helpful and not pressuring us with the upset and actually helping us save money. Please support our local businesses.
I have ordered glasses for my son twice from this location. Both times the doctors were great but the office staff is lacking to say the least. BOTH times I have had to call to get status of his glasses and both times they had been sitting for a few days. This time I specifically asked if they would notify us when they came in because my son is completely without glasses. She assured me I would be notified as soon as they came in... and again they sat for days without a call, text or email sent to me. The same girl who assured me I would be notified answered the phone and gave me the most sarcastic apology I have ever heard needless to say we won't be giving this location a 3rd attempt.
