I picked up my shipped glasses from this location and was greeted by no one as soon as I walked in. Patiently waiting, I was greeted by Charlene.
She was so nice and friendly at first, but her demeanor seemed stressed. She tried helping me through, which I noticed, but it seemed to take her a while to heat up and tighten my glasses. I noticed she popped the frame outside of one of my glasses, because she said she had a hard time tightening them due to the prescription. I had a lengthy experience with lenses popping out and placing them back in, so when I tried them on my whole world was tilted downwards. Something was not right. Trying to be nice and just get them tightened, each frame was tightened better on one side than the other. I went to my car to see the world adjustment and I was adjusting fine with the pair she did not destroy. Unsatisfied, I came back in after inspecting the glasses and she tried to tell me again it was my big prescription, which had nothing to do with how she incorrectly placed the lenses back inside because you can see they are not in the same spot symmetrically. I went back in for her to fix them and she did, but both of my frames are lose. Charlene did not do as quite of a good job as I believe she would have given more effort to a different consumer. I have had glasses my entire life and have had beyond better experiences than I did yesterday. I unfortunately have to travel to a further location after receiving my new frames to get them tightened and fixed, when my first experience picking them up in PHX should have been great.
I had a really disappointing experience at this location. When I walked in, I was helped by a pregnant woman at the front who didn't appear to be in proper uniform: her shirt was stained and didn't have any company insignia, which already felt unprofessional. Not once did she introduce herself, so I do not have a name to go by. I explained that I needed both nose pads on my glasses replaced and was willing to pay for the repair.
She replaced only one side, and when I politely asked if she could do the other, she scoffed and told me she was "doing me a favor" and refused to complete the repair. I was taken aback by the attitude and lack of customer service. I then asked her to adjust the nose pads, and she bent them completely out of shape, making my glasses worse than when I came in.
I ultimately decided to disengage because it was clear she wasn't interested in helping. The entire interaction was unprofessional and left a bad impression. I'll likely take my business elsewhere or, at the very least, request help from someone else if I ever return.

I did my exam yesterday and everybody was so sweet and greeted me by the entrance. The receptionist Christina was very welcoming, the technician and doctor are very patient and understanding as they answered all my concerns and the optician, Franny, very reliable and specific with my order! Everybody gives good service, 100/10!! Even as I left, everybody said, "have a good day" !!
I came in and the lady that sits in the middle was absolutely awful to me. I had a hard time understanding my insurance since it was my first time getting glasses using it and every question I asked she rolled her eyes and when I apologized to her saying I wasn't trying to be difficult or come across to her wrong she rolled her eyes again and just stared at me quietly. She then handed me off to someone else who had no issue answering my questions with a smile and making sure I was good. Still giving 1 star specifically for that single employee. Had I not had her my experience would have been much better.
The eye exam was quick. The doctor was thorough. I was in and out in about 20 mins.
I had a great experience at America's Best. I arrived early for my appointment and was pleasantly surprised that there was no wait. The tech who assisted me was friendly and took the time to thoroughly explain an optional test that would cost extra. I really appreciated that there was no pressure to go through with it--it was simply presented as an option.
The doctor was excellent and really listened to my concerns. They helped me find the right brand of contacts that worked for my eye shape and dryness, which has made a big difference. Charlene, the sales associate, was a standout! She was extremely friendly and very mindful of the price differences between the contact options, helping me make an informed choice.
The only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 was the atmosphere. The store was eerily quiet--you could hear a pin drop. If there had been some soft music playing in the background, it would have felt much more inviting and comfortable.
Overall, a solid experience with helpful and attentive staff. I'd definitely recommend this location!
So friendly and helpful
Charlotte was very nice and answered all my questions.
The doctor Jesse was so professional and explained everything to me I will definitely tell my family and friends to come to this place.
Terrible communication never received a call email or text for my trial contacts or when the year supply came in but the entire time I waited before I had to reach out I get spammed with text and emails to rate my visit or new deals the store was having can't believe they couldn't make a single phone call after months of waiting on multiple occasions
