These guys were fabulous today!!! And had great patience with us today. Making the appt over the phone with Jessica was just easy & comfortable. The staff was friendly, the store was clean! We had some time to browse frames before the exam, the exam was very thorough but again with positive & friendly vibes! Thank you guys for a great experience all around! And can't wait to see the glasses when they get in!
If you don't like your job please please find something you love doing!! Suzanne this is not the job for you!! Having an attitude because a customer who had already been in there and paid for their product that pays for your wages called and asked a question. There was no need for huffing and puffing because you were asked to do something or check something that is part of your job. Don't answer the phone if you are with a customer. There are more than enough employees there that I'm sure you are not the only one there and someone else could of helped without the attitude.
So I went there hoping that I would get taken care of based on the situation I was in I need a new contacts. They were definitely not the most professional people I've met in the industry and I've been getting contacts for at least 25 years. Needless to say the doctor did not do such a good job and I'm not saying that because she was young but she just didn't do a good job not to mention I explained to her that I had the same prescription for the last 25 years and it never changed but for some reason she decided to boost up my prescription. I had a horrible time with the contact she prescribed for me I had issue seeing. I had to order my contacts so I'm used to a doctor telling me to come back so they could do a checkup and make sure everything is fine she did not do that at all. She was not informative at all about the exam, so I would never recommend anybody going to that location. 2 weeks later I end up just going to Walmart vision I had a wonderful experience put back in my regular prescription with no issues.
I had a great appointment. I did wait a bit at the desk when I got there but they were very friendly and apologized for it. Check in was easy, and then I got to try on frames while waiting for the eye exam and doctor. It all went quickly. Then they told me my vision wasn't as bad and gave me suggestions on what to buy. About 20 years ago I got an eye exam and that place told me I had this terrible vision and had to buy all these products. That didn't happen at America's Best. I appreciate that they weren't hard selling me anything and helped me with my vision.
The guy working here around 11:45 he was chunky and wore glasses, called my boyfriend poor while he was looking at glasses and was really rude and making very rude remarks, even commented on how faded my sweater was and said "it looked like thanos snapped and made it fade away" after i had mentioned it was my favorite sweater. It was a horrible experience. Never coming back here again. This place used to care about people now its all about money.
I want to reach out and thank all the staff at America's Best. Especially the manager Shelby, as she is a great example of a manager and she works hard like all the other staff members. The staff always offers to help other staff members to insure their clients always have the best, professional, and pleasant service. When you walk in, regardless of another customer being helped, every staff member greets you in less than two minutes, letting you know that they will be right with you. The whole staff, including the manager, Shelby, guarantees a pleasant, professional, knowledgeable and always anticipate additional needs and set expectations! THEY. ARE. THE. BEST.
This was my first time at this location. I was welcomed with a smile. The customer service was good. It was a bit of a wait after getting checked in for my scheduled appointment. I do recommend this location.
I have been a loyal customer of America's Best for over 15 years entrusting this company with my vision care and thousands of dollars over the course of that relationship. But after my recent experience, I can say without hesitation: that trust has been broken.
Two weeks ago, I placed an order for Biofinity XR Toric contact lenses. I received no updates, no status notifications, no communication nothing. I had to track the order down myself, only to be told that it would take nearly a month to arrive due to it being a "special order." That would be disappointing on its own, but what truly pushed this situation over the edge was the shockingly unprofessional behavior of your employee, Jessica.
When I voiced my frustration, Jessica responded in a tone that was dismissive, rude, and downright condescending. Her exact words were: "If you feel that way, I can just refund you." No apology, no accountability, and certainly no effort to provide a solution. For a customer of 15 years, I was treated as if my concerns were a nuisance. It was not just poor service it was insulting.
Let me be clear: this kind of conduct is not a fluke. Had I trusted the countless negative reviews about this Phoenix, AZ location 3535 W Southern Ave Suite 108, Phoenix, Az 85041 which consistently mention rude staff and poor communication I might've avoided this altogether. The red flags were there, and I ignored them. That's on me.
But what's on you is Jessica, and she is a direct reflection of the culture you allow at this location. If this is the face you're comfortable presenting to long-time customers, then your brand has a serious problem.
To be frank, the customer service I've experienced at your Dallas locations is far superior. There, I've been treated with respect, urgency, and professionalism everything that was lacking in Phoenix. The difference is embarrassing.
On top of all this, I was charged $182.49 for same lenses I received from 1-800 Contacts for $164.99 with three-day delivery. Not only was I mistreated, I was overcharged and left waiting a month.
I'm calling on America's Best leadership to investigate this location and Jessica's behavior specifically. Based on her conduct and the pattern of negative experiences reported by other customers, I firmly believe she should be retrain immediately. Or seek better job opportunities elsewhere Her continued employment only guarantees more customers will walk away angry, disrespected, and unwilling to return just like me.
Until major changes are made starting with staff who actually value the people who keep your lights onI will not be returning. And I will strongly urge others to take their business elsewhere.
