Arizona Family Vision Center

This experience was unfortunately not good. Very rough. The staff is half decent at best. They do not strive for excellence at a quality level of service and it shows. If you have astigmitism like myself, you can expect a long delay in contacts lenses depending on your eyes. Doctor stated 3-4 weeks on Oct 28. Ouch, okay that's a long time. No worries, I get it. These are custom lenses for my vision. 4 weeks fly by. No call? I call the desk for an update on shipment. "Oh its actually coming Dec 8th." Okay... Dec 8th comes around. No call. I call Dec 9th. "Oh it's actually coming Dec 15th." Haha fine! We schedule an appointment. I get a voicemail, "oh well your trials did not arrive." I didn't return the call back at this point and just waited to see if they will even reach out. Kinda over it... January 5th. I call because what's going on and no follow-up and no they did not talk to me based on their "notes". "Oh it said it supposed to come Dec 16." Okay weird. No call back after two hours. Alright status? Oh it says it's January 19th. I've waited 3 months for trials. Past Halloween, past Thanksgiving, past Christmas, past New Years. They are a waste of my time. I just gave up and decided to go somewhere who can provide answers and accuracy at the very least.

Every place we've been to struggles to find my VSP this place didn't struggle one bit. They were quick and efficient. Prices yes I agree were higher than usual but the brands they carry are expensive. Found the right glasses for the family and Dr. Explains things well. The front staff all were very friendly. When it came down to the prices and plans the girl explained it well. No issues what so ever.

Always enjoy the time I spend with the staff here. They always go above and beyond in their work and recommendations of frames. Great selection too, which is a plus. :)

I have had serious eye issues my whole life. So i have been from Phoenix, Arizona all the way to Tacoma. Philadelphia, Atlanta, LA. And I have never had the excellent level of service that I received here, with Dr. Rodriguez-Torres. Very friendly, down to earth, easy to understand. She took the time to explain in detail what exactly what was happening in my eyes. She explained my surgery to me and even told me that my vision is correctsble with modern surgical technology. I was blown away. I have been told for years there is little to no chance that correction is possible. She further offered EVERY SINGLE option available to me and answered ALL of my questions. There were a lot of them. My appointment probably lasted upwards of 2 hours. She never once diverted her attention and she never acted like I was taking too long. I am so happy i found this little gem in South Phoenix. Anyone with vision needs, I highly recommend. Return and referral business WORTHY!!! THANKYOU!!!

I have been going to Arizona Family Vision since 2007 with the exception of a year when my employer opted to go with a different carrier for our vision benefits. I have never had any issues whatsoever! They have always been very courteous, and helpful. The doctor is very knowledgeable and the entire staff is very friendly and accommodating. Their frames are a bit more expensive than most places but that's to be expected with designer frames. With my prescription, I prefer glasses to contacts and I don't have a problem paying for what I like. Especially when the quality is excellent. I have never had an issue with broken or poorly fitted frames! I'm always happy with my selections and the staff always show me how to maximize my insurance benefits to get the most benefits from my coverage. There are quite a few other eye doctors closer to my home but I love the level of service and care that I get from AZ Family Vision and will forever go here for my eye care and eyewear.
