Arizona Glaucoma Specialists - Desert Ridge

I am here at least 2 hours for every appt. It is extremely disrespectful of my time and my day. The staff is friendly and Dr Kim is thorough. They need to find a way to stay on schedule. Maybe less patients at the same time perhaps. Finally moved to back office..... 15 minutes and counting.

Easily will be waiting 3+ hours for the entire appointment. 30 minutes is actual clinical stuff and the rest is waiting in the lobby or in the exam room. They need to have better scheduling, this is unfair and frustrating.

Only had one visit so far. VERY impressed with the entire staff and how through and how much they taught me already. Like this office!

I've had glaucoma tests at a couple places now, and Dr. Kim, and the staff here are some of the best. Everyone has been friendly and answered any questions I have. Dr. Kim is friendly and great at communicating, which imo is the most important thing. The wait times can be a little long, but nothing abnormal.

So disappointed by how the front office ladies just treated my 99 year old grandmother. I just witnessed a horrible attitude due to a mistake that the front office made. My grandma is still to this day the financial director of our small company and works out at the gym every day. She was not rude or unreasonable in anyway. These ladies stated that someone in the office changed her appointment, but spoke rudely about how she must have been called and that there is no way they would have been allowed to change the appointment without speaking to her. I stated that she would have called me to ask if I could drive her, if she had spoken to anyone. The young Latin heavyset lady at the front desk proceeded to interrupt me and state in an extremely harsh tone that someone else changed it and that she knows nothing. The part of this experience that really was out of line is, not taking responsibility and just saying simply 'I am sorry' with a little humility. This is not how you speak to the elderly or anyone who is not being disrespectful to you for that matter. Some attention needs to be paid on how people speak to patients.

Dr. Kim communicates well and conducts a very thorough exam. I've been a patient appropriately four years and am very happy with the care I receive.

The doctors here care very much about their patients and take the time needed to make them feel comfortable during what can be difficult situations.

Worst experience online or on phone trying to see a glaucoma specialist. Don't recommend no help what so ever
