Arthur B Epstein OD

Until recently I've only required an eye doctor once in the past 15 years for a strange eye infection. But that changed when I recently developed pretty significant chronic dry eye symptoms that occasionally would leave me feeling like I rubbed peppers in my eyes for entire days. There was nothing I could do for the pain once it came so I had no choice but to get ahead of the problems causing my symptoms. After a visit to another ophthalmologist I had previously seen left me without any further solutions than what I had read independently, I made an appointment with Dr. Epstein who apparently specializes in my problem. It was immediately apparent that my experience in this office would be different. They have equipment to image and quantify my problems beyond performing a basic eye exam. After a ton of testing I met Dr. Epstein and he reviewed all my testing the same day and spent a TON of time explaining my exams, my disease, and my treatment plan to me. His office has everything patients like me need to manage their eye problems all in one place (that alone is extremely rare!) and at very reasonable prices. I left feeling like Dr. Epstein has a rare degree of empathy for his patients and takes a lot pride in his work. While there isn't a cure for what I have and I don't feel completely normal still, his plan is working for managing my disease and it's hard to tell you how good that feels.

I've met few doctors as thorough and knowledgeable as Dr. Epstein - a true expert in his field. Great culture at the office - warm, inviting, and professional. I can't recommend him and his team highly enough.
