The staff is great BUT they need to work on their time management... I get they get paid hourly but I dont get paid to sit here 2 hours.... my appointment was at 905am. Got here at 845am and im JUST now gonna see the eye doctor at 1004am BUT I gotta wait till HE is in the room to tell you the time. Just work on your guys time management

I went to my schedule appointment but I forgot my wallet so I was turn away because I couldn't pay my copay even though I told them I always paid online after years of going to them that was upsetting

Bad experience I spoke w/ lady Tina very rude person . Very impolite.not professional.don't know what she's doing, I was asking for refill & and rescheduled my apoiment and she try to collect the debit in my account ,& she was so rude telling me I'm spanic and don't speak English. Try to speak w/her supervisor and she said she doesn't speak Spanish. Can't help you, but not right treatment for customers. I'm very disappointed w/ this lady . And management to hired this kind of employee. W/out education how to work with customers. Works place in phoenix don't go there .someone has to pay attention to this issue.

WAS a patient with Dr. Gordon with Associated Retina Specialists on Glendale, Ave. in the Phoenix AZ area. Terrible service to patients. This practice obviously only cares about their bottom line. "Profits ". The made me wait 3 hours before Dr. Gordon finally sees you. They overbooked 3-4 patients at the same time, therefore creating such unacceptable wait times. After preliminary exams by assistants, which takes 20 - 25 minutes they make you wait 2 1/2 hours before actually getting seen by doctors. Apparently only care for billing numbers to Medicare or supplemental insurance. Every visit was the same delay. Staff is excellent but doctors are not keeping patients needs first.

I have been taking my mother to Dr. Bakall at Associated Retina Consultants for macular injections for a very long time. We are normally there for 2 hours or so, but today (June 3, 2025) was just too much. The appt. was for 10:30 and the pre-injection work up was timely. That's where it stopped. Mother finally received her injection at 12:50. Further, the assistant who injected the numbing drug forgot to numb the injection site, putting mother in considerable pain.

The only reason we aren't filling with the BBB is they ask for medical records, which shouldn't be necessary to file a complaint. This is not the first time we've been here for more than 3 hours. Taking time off of work just to come here, additionally husband is now late for work as well. It's completely unprofessional and the staff are rude when it comes to doing anything about it. They treat it as you can leave if you want..... they just don't care. Watching staff leave for the day as we are still sitting here waiting to be seen, this is just ridiculous.

I'm only doing this review for Kristen who is probably Dr. Welsh assistant. She definitely shouldn't be part of this type of business. Not sure who she thinks she is but she is the worse person I've ever met in my 43 years on this earth. She is rude, doesn't let you talk and pretends like she knows it all. We went yesterday to this office with a very delicate situation with our daughter and she treated us horribly. She wouldn't let us finish explaining the situation, she abruptly interrupted several times with different questions and used a rude tone of voice. She changed her attitude when she noticed I was getting upset. She should definitely not work with kids or anyone in delicate situations as she has no empathy and is extremely rude. Disgusting behavior during such a delicate situation. I am very thankful with Dr. Welsh though as he was able to accommodate my daughter into his busy schedule. He is very nice and knowledgeable. UPDATE: The staff there is horrible with scheduling. We were scheduled today for surgery at PCH and this office didn't do their job. My daughter's surgery is postponed till next week. They also do this with appointments. They have great doctors but if you can find a better office do it and run away from this office.

Called to make appointment and gave them my insurance along with the member number and they said they accepted my insurance. After a 40 mile drive one way, they informed me they DID NOT accept the insurance and tried to get me to pay out of pocket. I felt very "bait and switched". Don't trust them.
