Costco Optical Department

I scheduled an Appointment here and unfortunately, I had the wrong time by 10 minutes and tried to call on my way to let them know that and that I was running late, nobody answered, and nobody called me back, and when I showed up, they told me they needed to reschedule, which was the whole point of me calling in. I left a voicemail and understand things get busy, but when I walked in, four people that look like they work there were sitting around and so it seems like there was no reason for them to not have answered or call me back. Super frustrating and do not recommend.

One of the best eye exams I have had. Everyone was so kind and helpful. Dr Lauren was Great. She explained everything to me and what to expect later on in life. Thank you so much. And my glasses are ready.

They make you fill out paper work asking if you would like additional services. I opted no then the dr asks again. Not mentioning the price and then you check out and they added the additional service. Very unprofessional practices. Never coming back to this office. If you're going to offer the service again make sure you let your patient know you will be charging for it.

Sheri Doherty was fantastic. She never missed a beat and kept me informed and updated on my situation. Initially just putting lenses in existing frames - Then they could not do it and while re-routing my existing lenses and frames back to me they got damaged. Sheri went above and beyond to make sure I was fully compensated for my loss. I now have two pairs of glasses from COSTCO that I simply love. One for reading and one for night driving. I will definitely go back and ask for SHERI .... She is the best !!!!!

I'm new to wearing glasses and had to return the regular and sun glasses I got from Costco after I had my optometrist adjust the prescription. It just wasn't working for me. I thought it would be a hassle but the guy working the counter, Greg, was very helpful and had it taken care of quickly. I even got money back since the prescription for the sunglasses was simplified.

I love the prices on both contacts and glasses, but I recently bought a pair of glasses and I can't seem to get anyone to correctly fit them to my face. At my eye doctor they usually help out a lot and give me advice when fitting my glasses to my face. The first guy seemed really annoyed when he was fitting my glasses. I was pretty unsure how tight I should make them since I haven't purchased glasses in 4 years. I went home and they fell off my face and the lens scratched. I brought them back in and had the lenses replaced. This time around, I got then fitted perfectly, except that when they were adjusting the frames, they scratched the entire side of my lens. Also, after a few days of wearing them, the glasses reverted back and are constantly sliding down again. So I might bring them back in and I might have to get the lens replaced again which is just super inconvenient for me since I have no other pairs of glasses. Currently living with a bunch of scratches on my right lens.

I haven't gotten an eye exam in a long time so it's been over due. Just left my appointment at costco and wow! My doctor was very knowledgeable and friendly! She brought some issues to light without making me feel bad for not taking care of my eye health. I'm actually looking forward to going back and getting my glasses which I did notice the frames are so affordable!!! Highly reccomend anyone to go here. Thank you Dr. Lee

I live in Peoria near the Glendale store but go to this Costco as a matter of preference because of many things, including the optical department where I have done business for several years now. Greg has been there since the store opened and is a great guy. One time I asked about new nose pads for my Kirkland sunglasses (very good) and he changed them out on the spot for free. This time I had a problem with new progressive lenses I got from a check up there and again he fixed everything right away, asking how I use the glasses and offered suggestions. I ultimately got re-seen by the doc and they are changing out the glasses for me. Great service and Greg does an outstanding job. Thanks!
