Costco Optical Department

I have had my eye appointment with the optical doc there and then got my glasses from here twice. My glasses came in, in about a week. Highly recommend them from start to finish.

They are awesome! Came here after some mixed results at Valley Eyecare and Target Optical and Costco has been the best. The staff are friendly, kind and knowledgeable and the Optometrists at Generations Eyecare were great as well diagnosing my astigmatism that no optometrist has in the past. (Shoutout to Doctor Hundeldt!) Frames are a bit limited here but I don't think you can beat the level of care, value and service at Costco.

I have a difficult time getting time off work so I asked to make an appointment on any Saturday even if I had to wait several months. I was told all Saturdays are booked. I took time off work and came in on a Friday. I waited in the lobby well past the time my appointment was supposed to start. Two women came in while I was waiting to make appointments both for Saturday (the next day which turned out to have lots of openings). I had paid upfront with a credit card when I checked in and had them print a receipt- I had to show the receipt several times my impression is I was not being seen because they decided for some reason that I had refused to pay, then I had to show it to a second employee to prove I really had paid. I am not sure if this treatment was due to race/gender or something else but I will not be returning ever again.

Had my first ever eye appointment there. I didn't know what to expect and had a great overall experience. I am so happy I can see so much better now.

Dr Wong at the Costco Eye Center was wonderful. We went in for a routine eye exam and she was able to detect potential problems with my son's eye. She was so discerning and also caring as she helped us navigate next steps. Dr Wong and the whole team were very professional and helpful. I would highly recommend them to anyone needing eye care.

I arrived tried on 3 pair of glasses and found the perfect ones I turned around and there was a clerk to handle my transaction. She was thorough and quick. It took maybe 10-12 minutes and only cost $219 when the same glasses cost me over 600 at America's best. They were ready in 3 days.

I've ordered 2 pair of glasses through Costco since 2017, on an annual basis, sadly this is the worst experience I've had. This is my first experience at the Oak St location. There was absolutely no support while looking for frames or fitting. Then to make it even worse they did not order the correct frames when I selected them. Now they will not work with me to correct the errors and I have 2 pairs of glasses that I will absolutely never wear. It's very disheartening to know I've been a member nearly 20 years and this is where we sit. Very sad and disappointed.

It was easy to get an appointment here. I called for an appointment and was scheduled for one within a couple of days. I saw Dr. Melissa Schiffer here. She was great! She was friendly, kind, and knowledgeable. She dialated my eyes to give me a good retina check after the machine didn't take adequate photos of my retinas. I did not buy glasses here. I ordered online from Eyebuydirect direct, which turned out to be a HUGE mistake.
