Due to a torn retina it was imperative to have surgery as soon as possible. After a thorough search,Dr. Patel of Associated Retina Consultants was the top of all our choices.
Dr. Patel performed a procedure where a gas bubble was injected into the eye in combination with Lazer surgery. The gas bubble pushes the retinal tear into place against the back wall of the eye.
Many thanks to Dr Patal who was so patient with all our questions and answered every last one.
Not hard to see why he was elected into Gold Humanism Honor Society and Omega Alpha Honor Society during medical school.

My wife developed flashing lights in her left eye on Friday evening was unable to get hold of any ophthalmologist until a colleague gave me the information for Associated Retinal Consultants spoke to Dr. Patel on Saturday morning who promptly listened and gave us an appointment for 12:30 PM that afternoon .
Dr. Patel was very professional very thorough and took time to explain the problem causing the flashing lights in the left eye.
