Eye Doctors of Arizona - North Phoenix

I recently had an interaction with Issac from Eye Doctors of Arizona and was very disappointed with the level of customer service provided. Communication was lacking, and my concerns did not feel acknowledged or taken seriously. Responses were delayed, and when I did receive a reply, it did not fully address the issue I raised. In addition, I was given the wrong address for my appointment, which caused unnecessary stress and inconvenience. I also did not receive important additional information regarding my upcoming surgery. Overall, the experience fell short of what I expect from a medical office, especially when it comes to clear communication and patient care. I hope improvements are made regarding the client services.

Dr. Agrawal is amazing! Very knowledgeable, and extremely personable. Had a great experience in my two appointments that I've had there. Highly recommend. The staff is great too!

It was the week before Christmas so I am assuming that's why it was so bad? But it was so packed idk why doctors offices decide to schedule 3 people for the same time, because the doctor didn't even greet me and then just asked which ones I could see better, just starting the normal eye test. I have really bad vision so I can't see upclose or far away, so lot of eye tests they just focus on one thing which normally is the far away but it's honestly been both .... Far and upclose being the issue... After the test, I still was confused because nothing really felt like it changed I even said to him I was like honestly should it still be blurry? So he switched one of the lens down and said it'll be fine Then he just kind of left and didn't really address any other issues or anything. I've been going here since I got my glasses in 4th(?) grade, so just kind of disappointing because I don't remember it being like this at all. The people at the front desk were nice, the person who helps with picking out frames are nice, I just think that sometimes since doctors are so knowledgeable about the things they are working with, they begin to forget about explaining it to their patients who don't know what the issue is, or don't understand what certain things means or why it is like that.

When I started going to this practice I had Dr. Matt. He was great. I had both eyes that needed cataract surgery. Had it done by Dr. Matt and it went fine. Now here is when the wheels fall off. I went in for my cataract cleaning and it went fine. Then one day I get a call saying I missed my appointment. I asked what appointment? For what? She says it's for my cataract cleaning. I told her I had that done over a year ago. Oh, that makes sense. I didn't get charged for a missed appointment I didn't make. About a month later I scheduled an appointment to get my eyes checked because my vision was changed and I was getting headaches. I have my calendar in front of me and I wrote the appointment down. I go to my appointment and they say they don't have an appointment. Really?! So I scheduled another appointment and they say my appointment is for another day. I have many doctors appointments due to having encephalitis 10 years ago. I have never missed an appointment with any of them. But I miss an appointment for a procedure I had a year ago then say I had the wrong date?! I gave them one more try and scheduled a eye exam. I sat in the waiting room for 30 minutes. When they got me into a room I waited another 20 minutes. Finally the doctor comes in. He doesn't introduce himself to me. He immediately gets to the exam and sends me on my way with a prescription. Not only that but the prescription way wrong.

Big, clean office with plenty of room in the waiting area. Lots of staff so there's not a huge wait. My eye care person was extremely helpful and knowledgeable! She took the time to explain procedures and results. All exams were done with care and to my comfort. The doc himself came in and left within 5 minutes. All were professional and made me feel cared for.

I had an appointment to get a stye drained, which I later called to get reschedule for a different time that day. They then call me to tell me that don't do drainages at the time I rescheduled for, so they had to cancel my appointment and reschedule me a week later

Been coming here for a few years. They are always fast and professional.

Their billing is always wrong. They were off on their quotes. My eyes are dry n irritable every day since the eye surgery. The pain post surgery was a 10 n follow ups did nothg more than charge me for more folloe ups. 2 years post surgery n still blurry.
