I recently had my first appointment with Horizon Eye Specialists & Lasik Center. I was very impressed with all of the staff who were very knowledgeable on the tests I was taking and even though I had been through this at several other practices they provided me with new information so that I am now better able to understand what the test was measuring and what the units of measurement meant in relation to eye sight. Dr Levin then examined me and spent time explaining all of the findings and again I learned more information from him than I ever had at any other vision exam. I am very fussy about cross patient hygiene and the entire office and reception area was pristine and each staff member meticulously followed cleaning protocols in preparing all of the equipment with which I came in contact.

Doctor Chen is fantastic! He asked thoughtful questions regarding my complex set of conditions and drilled down deeply to arrive at his final assessment. I feel that solving my case was important to him and his intelligence and general knowledge of the dynamics of my myasthenia gravis conditions enabled him to reach a solid, logical conclusion where others before him failed. Finally, I appreciate how well he explained his assessment in terms I could understand. Doctor Chen is Tops! I would also mention that Lauren who conducted my initial interview was pleasant, smart and thorough as well.

The eye care I received was the very best. Being a snowbird I didn't know where to go the Tateum urgent care office after seeing me recommended Horizon. I called them a few minutes before 5:00 PM. The receptionist got me in. The medical assistants were very helpful, professional and courteous. Dr. Jeffrey Pyritz and his team took care of the urgent problem I had. Thanks to Dr. and team I am able to get back to the golf course and pool. Phoenix you are lucky to have these eye health pros.

Very professional office. Front desk office staff made me feel very welcomed. My visit had no delays . Took me right on time. EveryDoctor there is a specialist . Looking forward to coming back for my evaluation and cataract procedure. I was referred to this office and will recommend them to family and friends. Had my first cataract surgery and was treated with the Best of care. Results were wonderful. Dr. Angela did a wonderful job and the recovery room nurse was helpful and caring. Everyone on staff were very helpful. Looking forward to my last cataract surgery.

In the entire field of healthcare, few medical visits can be called pleasant, or fun, including eye care appointments. As a patient, sitting through exams for 30 minutes or more is never going to qualify as a good time. (It's hard for the staff too, by the way. They work hard.) But pro-active eye health is vital, no matter how inconvenient or uncomfortable. From the moment you "check-in"at the front reception you know you're in very capable hands. They are absolutely wonderful, genuinely friendly, and perfect ambassadors for the office. Sean and Jason conduct many of your tests with genuine care and capability. Plus they're exceptionally personable. Then there is Dr. Blaskovich. Thank heaven for her. She cares about her patients. She also spends a considerable amount of time making sure any issues or concerns will be perfectly attended to, and successfully completed. Her expertise, advice, and assurance, are beyond expectations. Horizon Eye Specialists Eye Care Center Desert Ridge is the real deal, and if you choose to choose them as providers, you'll have done yourself a huge favor.

I was warmly greeted when I arrived, and the front desk staff was very friendly. They were training a new team member, and I was impressed by how patient, kind, and supportive they were -- something that's not always the norm and definitely worth recognizing. The standout, though, was Sean (I believe that was his name). He greeted me with a genuine smile and clearly enjoys what he does. His positive energy and willingness to help really made an impression. During the vision field test, he explained each step thoroughly, which made the whole process smooth and comfortable. Horizon has a true asset in him -- a great example of someone who loves their work and cares about people.

Staff was very kind and helpful. Dr Casen was personable and answered my questions. He took his time with me and I appreciated it.

Horizon Eye Specialists is a great operation from top to bottom. A well qualified and very professional staff. They take care of your needs and kindly answer all questions while maintaining their on time schedule. I highly recommend them as the perfect choice.
