Angelia, the manager at the Camelback store and Arrowhead, changed my experience from frustrated with order issues to resolved with solutions and changed my disposition from angry and exhausted to pleased and relieved. On top of that she executed resolve in only 10 minutes with a positive attitude which gave me confidence. If she ever wants a new career it should be training the average manager to be committed and exemplary at their work!!! I give her FIVE platinum stars and solid AAAAAs ++++++++!!!!

I've been coming to this Nationwide Vision location for over 10 years and have always had a great experience. They have a great selection of glasses and contact lenses, so it's easy to find what I need.
The staff are friendly and efficient, and the physician is professional and thorough during exams. The whole team makes visits smooth and pleasant. I definitely recommend this location for anyone looking for quality eye care.

I visited Nationwide Vision at the Camelback Biltmore location (1650 E. Camelback Rd, Suite #160, Phoenix, AZ) for an eye exam in December 2025. They collected my insurance details upfront (VSP/UnitedHealthcare/etc.), verified acceptance, and assured me the claim would be submitted properly. I paid my copay and assumed everything was handled.
Then, two months later--in February 2026--I received a surprise bill in the mail for the full amount (over $XXX), with no prior notice or explanation. I contacted my insurance provider right away, and they confirmed no claim had ever been submitted by Nationwide Vision. My insurance confirmed the provider is in-network and the claim should have been filed promptly, but nothing was in their system.

The was at the Biltmore Store on Camelback Rd. Why make an appointment when they don't honor their times. Made an appointment for 5:10 pm today 1/26/26. I showed up 15 min early. Did all my paperwork online even scanning my insurance cards. Checked in for my 5:10 appointment. After 27 mins of waiting past my 5:10 time 37 mins for the check in time I was still not seen. I was told that they usually run a bit late further in the evening. If you know it is a problem why do you make the appointment times so close? They informed me that the tech was going to call me / more than 27 min after my time, then I would have to wait again to see the Doctor. This is 100% not acceptable. I like all of you know that my time is valuable. They do not. They staff was professional and nice. No complaints with the staff. Be aware that if you book in the evening you will most likely not make your appointment time not because of you, but of them. I rebooked and I hope they can value my time.

Everyone was so nice and helpful! They answered every question I had. I had to get some extra pictures done on my eyes and Dr. Nguyen saw some questionable things in my right eye so she immediately made me a referral to see an Eye Specialist. They also have some adorable glasses so it made it harder for me to choose. I recommend coming here!

2-18-2026: At my exam appointment, I was waited on by Eber, an extremely courteous young man. The female tech who performed the initial eye tests (but whose name I can't recall, darn it!) was patient, knowledgeable and reassuring, as was the wonderful Dr. Jennifer Nguyen, who explained the test results and skillfully guided the creation of my new prescription. Eber was instrumental in helping me select my new frames, applied all possible discounts and even stayed past closing time to ensure I was completely and respectfully taken care of, never making me feel rushed. Although it was a very busy office, I received excellent service. They have a new machine that eliminates the need for dilation, at an upcharge, but it was worth it. The Dr was professional and thorough and explained everything well. Showed me the photos of my eye from the new machine and it was fascinating. Their selection of frames is good. All and all, it was a good visit. They have a good method of reminding you about appointments.

Never again, the exam part was worth it, but make sure everything is specified before you purchase any frames and lens add ons. They will sell you a bunch of add ons but not truly explain what they are when it comes to having your lenses shaved down. I paid an additional fee to have my lens shaved down and all they did was a glossy polish to the ends of the lenses when I was sold a shaved down to avoid them being thick. Then when the issue was addressed, they treated me as a problem, creating a hostile feeling vibe, and wanted me to pay additional for the inconvenience caused by the staff lying about what was explained when I purchased the shave down. Very disappointed.
