Neil J Atodaria, MD

Dr. Atodaria, is a wonderful eye doctor. He is very thorough, patient, knowledgeable and very kind. I was very impressed to find out he does mission work in other under developed countries. I feel blessed to have found him for my vision needs. I highly recommend him.

I got there a half hour early and was very surprised to be called back within 7 minutes. Everyone was very pleasant but the wait between the eye tests were very long. Every person had their "thing" to do and then back to the waiting room. Let me just say, I got there at 9:30 and left at noon. That's right, noon. I thought that was a very long time for an eye appointment. Other people in the waiting rooms were complaining also. Will I go back? Yes, because I need to stay on top of my eye pressure. But I'm most likely to find an eye doctor that does it all without all the waiting. Dr. Neil Atodaria was very kind and thorough.

Dr Atodaria is a very kind and competent clinician. Even though the office is very busy, his entire team is always very empathic and service oriented. They seem to typically understand how intimidating it can be negotiating the whole process of being a patient in a large busy practice. In other words, I never feel like I am just a number, but they are providing a style of 'concierge" service that compensates for the large practice. I feel completely comfortable recommending him for eye care. Medicare also seems to cover all of the charges very well, except refraction services (which is common protocol for many plans). As a health care professional myself, I have to be careful about any comments that I make about another professional--especially publically. However in this case, I trust my personal instincts and judgement.

Dr. Atodaria took time to explain my surgery for the cataracts, stints for my glaucoma and the procedure for the astigmatism fix. His manner is compassionate and thorough. He seems very knowledgeable. Dr. Atodaria reviewed and checked my glaucoma pressures which are staying in a good range without more drops. He also answered my concern about signs of macular degeneration. I'm thankful for his kind manner and knowledge!

Dr. Attodaria is an excellent Dr. It is rare that he is also a Surgeon and yet has outstanding respect and, " bedside manners," towards his patients. I gave 4 stars only because within his team there is a specialty surgeon dr G.... that is rude and unprofessional. I had to see her after a peripheral exam. As she walked out the room she said my vision got worst without even showing me. She also claimed that I had scarring and inflammation which was incorrect. If she was not part of this group, I don't think she would even have patients and I would have given Dr Attodaria 5 stars. However, he is part of that team.

Although Dr. Atodaria gave me the news I wanted to hear regarding my visual status, his "bedside" manner leaves something to be desired. Great doctors, in my opinion, connect with their patients on a human, not just technical, level.

Everyone I dealt with were very professional courteous and above all made me feel comfortable. Even though I was scared out of my mind they put me at ease. They took their time with me because I was so nervous. Dr. Atodaria was simply amazing. I only caught 1 of the girls names. Izzy was amazing as were the rest I dealt with. Im only sorry I can't remember all the names. There were so many. You won't be sorry with the care you get here.

Very unprofessional and terrible bedside manner. He's like a mechanic that changes our parts but doesn't really have any answers for issues after the cataract surgery. Never will go back to this guy, I found out there are much better doctors out there that truly care about their patients
