Went to this practice on a somewhat 'emergency' basis as it felt like I had something in my eye. The appointment was easy to make and they saw me quickly. Staff was SUPER friendly and made onboarding very easy. Appointment happened on time and efficiently. The doctor was so friendly and had a great 'chair side' manner. Everything happened so well I just had to respect everything about this business. Wide selection of Oakley and Maui Jim frames as well as numerous others, clean, friendly. I can't see a reason to go anywhere else!

Dr. Michelle Kohls is very knowledgeable and thorough. NVEC has the latest testing and diagnostic equipment. I recently had an eye exam after ten years, and she remembered me and my daughter's name from 10 years ago! Diagnosed with glaucoma for the first time.

Personable and attention to detail. This family operated business really cares about their customers. They take the time to get to know you, and your preferences. This kind of attention is becoming hard to find in modern day, but they really make you feel heard, and important. They were so informative and thorough. I won't go anywhere else.

As a medical professional myself, I am sensitive to when an office is well run, when the doctor is knowledgeable and attentive, and when a visit goes well or not. My now-multiple visits to North Valley Eye Care (I see Dr. Michelle) have uniformly been totally positive: professional atmosphere but relaxed and friendly staff, appointments on time and efficient, doctor more informed and informing about eye issues than any other eye professional I have ever worked with or seen. State of art equipment (most recent visit: new laser retinal scan that allows picture of whole internal eye structure therefore NO NEED TO DILATE EYES at least on this visit. Summed up: can't beat them. Best ever. Second entry, a year later. This is still the best eye practice I have ever seen. What Dr. Michelle doesn't know about eyes would not fill a thimble, and even then she knows the best of others that might have that info or skill, and can facilitate a referral with unequaled speed and response. To reiterate what I said above: I am a physician. I know when care is being well delivered. I completely trust Dr. Michelle and the NVEC clinic with my eyes. The fact that the entire staff is pleasant and personable is a plus. Yeah, I like these guys...

I loved my visit with Dr. Michelle and the rest of the team at North Valley Eye Care. Everyone was pleasant and helpful and the office was clean and orderly. I did not have to wait a long period to be taken into the room to be examined which is always a plus. I was told during this visit that I should purchase some glasses to help with an astigmatism and that I should wear them full time while at work. Since I had not recently worn glasses, the staff aided me in finding the perfect lens prescription and finding the perfect set of frames that were both stylish, durable, and affordable.

I moved to Arizona within this last year and used my insurance to find a new eye doctor. My experience with North Valley Eye Care has been wonderful. Dr. Michelle Kohls is very professional and easy to talk with and she was very patient with my questions. The equipment in their office is state-of-the-art and impressive. I would recommend them to everyone in need of an eye care specialist.

Dr. Michelle is an excellent professional, kind and attentive. The staff is also very nice and helpful! I am new in town and needed a follow up due to a small eye injury, I called and the staff was quick to get my information and schedule an appointment as soon as available. I will definitely come back!

Dr. Justin and Dr. Michelle Kohls are wonderful as well as the staff that they employ. They have set the bar high for excellence and exceed that standard. Everyone is a professional, and they are all knowledgeable, thorough and accommodating in every aspect of their care. Dealing with the quagmire of insurance was absolutely NO issue. It would be difficult to find another medical practice that meets the standards of North Valley Eye Care doctors and staff.
