Front of house could have been better. No one greeted me when I got in and helped me know what I needed to do for my appointment.

Dr Paul is GREAT! I'm not an easy patient (many issues), but he does everything in his power and knowledge to help. I've been seeing him for several years, and he has consistently exceeded my expectations. They would get a 5 star rating if it wasn't for their scheduling. First appointment they had a doctor scheduling change, and did not call to tell me. I went in, found Dr Paul wasn't there, and had to reschedule. The following week, I showed up for my appointment and they had double booked Dr Paul. I had to sit for an hour past my scheduled time to see the doctor. I am not a well person, and came very close to having to leave. I did have to have my sister come in to help me. Had they called to tell me, I would not have been happy, but would have changed my appointment rather than make myself sick. Their office personnel needs to do better.

The doctor I saw was amazing. The gentleman who guided me through the testing was pleasant. However, the receptionist who I first spoke with and asked for paperwork was cold, distant and could care less about her job! I work in recruiting, so I have a good sense of people. I compared charges for the exam
With my husband who went the week before and I was charged more - she didn't even want my health insurance card at all. Again, the DO was amazing, pleasant and very thorough. It's the little things that make a difference.

I had a fantastic experience here!
My appointment was the last of the day and I ended up being late because of a crash on the highway. I called in to let them know and see if I should reschedule and they were really nice about making sure I could still get in.
Everyone was helpful and patient through the process and had a fun dynamic with eachother.

Dwayne was a 10/10 man. Professional, respectful, and kind. I came in trying to fix my pair, but I had been told the part I needed would take a week and these are my only glasses. Quite the unfortunate situation. However, Dwayne saw the opportunity to help me out sooner and did not hesitate. I truly appreciate acts like that and I will not forget the kindheartedness and service! I can see again!!

Dr.paul was nice and friendly and knowledgeable but the girl who helps pick out glasses and the girl who goes over insurance were rude, unfriendly and unprofessional. They were talking bad about a customer who was on the phone while I was waiting so I could only imagine what they would say about me when I left. I opted to not buy frames there because of the staff. Will purchase elsewhere and not return.

I travel for business, I live in Phoenix and wanted to get my eyes checked while I was home. I made this appointment to have my eyes checked, I have VSP eye insurance coverage. The receptionist demanded medical insurance card in case the doctor found something wrong so they could charge medical. Don't understand this policy, why do you advertise as an eye care provider if you don't accept eye care insurance? I would not recommend this location. That said the receptionist wasn't polite nor did she explain the refusal to accept VSP insurance coverage. Bad on you Pearl Vision.

I went to the location on Tatum and the eye exam was good but then they proceeded to vastly overcharge me for the frames and lenses. I figured I was already there and so I just gave in and payed for my glasses and was told they would be ready in two weeks. 3 weeks later I call them to see where my glasses are and the man that answered the phone said hold on let me check. I could over hear him talking to a lady who told him she forgot to put them for send off to the lab and that she thought she had done it. The man comes back on the phone and proceeds to say there was a delay at the lab and they would not be here until next week. When I raised my frustration at the over price coupled with this neglegent delay he told me that I had not waited that long and spoke to me like I had no right to be frustrated and that it was just one more week. After this treatment I will never give my business to this outfit and will be letting my entire Scottsdale office know what horrible service and high prices this place has to offer.
