I had cataract surgery on both eyes with Dr. Achal Patel at Phoenician Eye Specialists, with the procedures scheduled two weeks apart. From start to finish, the experience was excellent. The entire team was professional, organized, and made sure everything was clear -- including confirming my surgery date, time, and lens choice (standard IOL, no upgrades). I felt completely comfortable and informed throughout the process. Dr. Patel is a highly skilled surgeon with an impressive background in cornea and cataract surgery, and it shows in his work. He explained everything thoroughly, took time to answer questions, and made sure I felt confident about each step. His focus on patient education and safety really stood out. My vision is now clear, and the recovery was smooth. I couldn't be happier with the results. I'm grateful to Dr. Patel and the team at Phoenician Eye Specialists for their excellent care, and I highly recommend them to anyone needing cataract surgery.

Dr. Patel is a very skilled physician and I am extremely happy with the results of the lens replacement surgery he performed on me. I could not be happier with the outcome, particularly given that I have significant myopia and had experienced a spontaneous detached retina approximately 10 months before Dr. Patel replaced the lens in both of my eyes. My detached retina was successfully reattached, but as I have learned is often the case, resulted in the development of a significant cataract in that eye, which necessitated lens replacement surgery. Dr. Patel was very thorough in talking through the options for lens replacement given my complications. Prior to having the lens replaced in the eye that I had experienced a detached retina in, I thought I might hold off on having the lens replaced in my other eye. But as soon as the patch came off my eye from the first lens replacement, I was ready to have the lens replaced in my second eye! Dr. Patel and the entire staff at Phoenician Eye Specialist are wonderful to work with and I highly recommend them.

I've been going to Phoenician Eye Specialist for about 2 years maybe 3. Dr Patel and his staff are very professional and respectful. I've had two surgeries to remove cataracts and plenty of follow up appointments. I fully trust him and his expertise and skills. I hightly recommend him.

Although they did not accept my insurance, the young lady who assisted me was incredibly helpful. She guided me through the steps I could take to book an appointment and went above and beyond by searching for my information to offer alternative options. Their outstanding customer service makes me genuinely prefer working with them.

I found Dr. Patel online. I needed some attention to my left eye, quickly... I called his Surprise office and the person I talked to, realized my concern. She indicated Dr. Patel was not in Surprise on Monday. She asked me if I minded being on hold while she confered with others. She came back and said Dr Patel would see me at the office in Phoenix. I was very glad for the appointment the next day. I went to thee Phoenix office and was greeted by thee office staff and was thoroughly examined by a Doctor. At the end of his exam. He said Dr Patel would be in to see me. Dr Patel examined my eye and prescribed medication and scheduled follow up visit. Needless to say, I am very happy with the response I received from my initial phone call to exam, and look forward to my follow up visit and many more visits in the future. Michael Potts
