This has been my third year going to this location and optometrist. They are very efficient, professional and caring with check in and the beginning process. Doc is amazing. I love her. She sees you as a human and not another body. She is caring and clear direction and talked with me about my eye care, not too me. She was kindly responsive to my questions without talking down to me. And check out the women answered all my questions and were so helpful about what glasses looked good in my face! Highly recommend this happy valley Norterra location!

I went in just wanting an eye exam and updated prescription--the first visit was great. When I came back to try contacts (which I've never worn), it was a completely different vibe. The staff that day seemed rushed and impatient, and I left frustrated.
When they called recently to have me come back, I said I'd rather just put what I paid toward glasses. That's when I found out the $120+ I paid only covered the "contact fitting." So basically, I paid for something I'll never use.
Lesson learned: Visionworks feels more like a business than a care provider. Next time I'll find an optometrist who actually puts people first.
