Nationwide Vision

I brought my daughter in for an exam and glasses, the whole visit was positive. The staff was very attentive even though they were busy. I felt very comfortable with the explanation of pricing and never felt "pushed" into add on's. Definitely recommend them.

I ordered glasses from Nationwide Vision and paid in full, after insurance, expecting them to be ready in two weeks as promised. Two weeks later, I called for an update and was told the frames were on backorder but would be ready the following week. When I called again--now three weeks in--I was told this time that the lenses were on backorder and would be ready the next week. The manager eventually called to process my refund, but not once did he apologize for the lack of communication or the poor service. He simply asked for my credit card number. Even worse, he never mentioned that canceling would mean waiting 60 days for the insurance claim to be refunded. I only found that out afterward when I tried to get glasses from Target. I will never recommend Nationwide Vision. Their prices aren't any better than Target or other competitors, and the service I received was completely unacceptable.

I've been to Nationwide Vision a few times. The wait times are consistently long, no matter when you schedule an eye exam. The office itself is okay, but the staff aren't very friendly or talkative and could benefit from better customer service. Whenever I call, it's difficult to get through--they rarely answer, though they do check voicemails. When it comes to choosing frames, they don't offer much guidance or advice. Add-on options are presented, but costs aren't clearly explained, so you have to ask about prices for everything. Overall, the service feels impersonal and could be improved in communication and support.

I am giving 5 stars for the amazing staff here!! . Marie who helped me with my frames is amazing!! I had to come back to get a new eye exam and she helped me redo my lens/frames. She was so knowledgeable , kind and went the extra mile for me to make sure I was happy!! I'd give her 10 stars if I could! The office manager his name was Mike and he is also great!!He Keeps the office energy going!! I do want to also share I had a bad experience because my prescription was somehow not correct? I started seeing a circular light around my left eye, when I called back to let them know the receptionist said I needed to see a Optamologist immediately and if I couldn't then I needed to go straight to the ER. The light in my vision was serious indicator of medical emergency and that wasn't something Optometrist deal with. I ended up in the E.R. with huge copay and nothing pressing regarding my eye. Followed up with an Optimologist 2 days later, who told me my prescription was way off and I needed to go back. Dr. Drew did another exam and said it was off and prescribed new glasses. The experience was frightening but also expensive. I still see a ball of light here and there but not as often as when it first happened. It was constant. I wasn't happy with all of this incorrect prescription etc, but oh well what can I do now.

Mike did a very good job! Very nice guy who went the extra mile to make sure I was helped and I had the best experience!

Fast and easy eye exam. There was no pressure to buy glasses the same day. I'm actually going back today to pick out a pair.

Mike at Nationwide on Combs and Gantzel is AMAZING! The moment you walk up to that door he's already got on smile from ear to ear ready to greet you. He made this a great experience for my son and surprisingly was able to remember him from months ago at the first visit!

I am very impressed with nationwide Dr.Drew is very knowledgeable and listens to what you have to say the staff is also great not pushy like some stores.thank you
