This Dr. & his office were Wonderful! I was referred by a friend & I also would recommend this office to anyone!! Dr. Toland is very thorough with his exam & also very patience. He referred me to an retina exam, everything good. Have to wear glasses all the time! He even called that early evening to check on me! Thank you everyone!! Marilyn

I went to Northwest Valley Eye Care for my annual exam as a new patient. It was a great experience! The team was efficient and focused on customer care. I highly recommend them!!

I needed to get into an eye doctor quickly for an issue with my eye, Northwest valley eye care got me in within hours and did a very thorough job with my exam period ended up finding a serious issue that was not related to what I went in for and the doctor. Quickly took care of it, referred me to a retinal specialist same day so I could get the treatment I needed. I will be switching To this doctor for my annual eye exams and eye care as they were professional, thorough, and friendly.

Came here (to this review page) after seeing an online post about this office about someone's experience with the staff and concerning behavior re: billing. I had a similar experience. Dear owner: Karen, who seems to be lead admin staff, is extremely rude. This could be forgiven by some, but she is directly rude to potential patients on the phone. This office is seems to have backwards priorities and is disorganized. I will not trust them with my money or vision Edit 9-16-25: Owner replied and said this post is autogenerated? I felt I was clear from my post that I saw reviews in my community's page and came to look at the reviews here and to comment to share my prior experience. It is a fact that I had an uncomfortable experience with your office. This current interaction is making me even more concerned with the validity of other reviews on your page, if every time you get a critical review you "report" it, in efforts to silence free speech and tailor your reviews to only allow people to say positive things about you? Really telling.

Very professional, on schedule, informative, and decently priced services. I was very satisfied with my encounter here.

Customer service is great. The doctor was very knowledgeable and diagnosed my eye problem. I'm very excited to have my eyes back to normal.

Made an appointment for my annual eye checkup. It was determined I had very dry eyes. Dr Anspaugh recommended eye drops and eye gell that I could only purchase thru their office or online. Went back 2 wks later for a follow up and my eyes had not improved. She prescribed restasis. My insurance co required pre-approval. This could be done with a phone call but for some reason Karen refused or said it was office policy not to do. She said she sent the required pre-approval. My insurance co wanted more information. I tried for over 2 weeks for them to speak to my insurance co but again Karen refused to do. My insurance co even called and spoke to her and offered to transfer her to who she needed to talk to but she said no she didn't have time. I was on a time frame as I was leaving town for 6 weeks. I finally gave up and am using over the counter drops which really don't help. I will try a new eye doctor who seems to care about their patient instead of someone that says it's not their policy to try and get an approval with their insurance. That if it took them an extra step to get approval I won't be told that it was against their office policy. I'm not saying they are not good eye doctors but that their office procedures are horrible customer servce.
