Unfortunately, Not only has their customer service gone down, but they're quality as well. I've been going here since I was a kid over 5 years ! my parents as well are clients here for many years. Recently, I had an experience that made me realize I should take my business elsewhere. I'm really disappointed because I use to recommend others to go here. Recently about a month ago, I took my 1 year old glasses in to get a new frame because the frame broke. They gave me a new frame same day and just swapped out my lenses into the new frame. The lady that had "assisted" me gave me my glasses with one lens popping out saying that they were gonna pop out due to my prescription being higher on my right eye. I didn't have this issue with my last pair but she told me I just need to pop them back in. I didn't think it was gonna be an issue till I started wearing them. *this issue with the lens popping out didn't even occur with my last pair. Not only were they popping out I can hear the glass moving every time I walk on my right side and they feel like they're about to break whenever I clean them. The lense does pop out when I clean them. So I just went in after work yesterday to see if they can help me out. The lady that "assisted "!me well talked to me because assisting would be helping which she didn't do. Told me she couldn't do anything about it that I would have to buy a brand new pair of glasses. Mind you this I just bought these glasses one year ago.. I've never had this issue with any products I've had bought from them till just now. She told me it's "wear and tear" which is ridiculous because I didnt have this issue until they swapped out my frame for a new one. The lady told me that I would have to buy new glasses and that my prescription was expired so I have to pay for a whole new prescription, she quoted me $80 for eye exam but then she told me since I was a long-term customer it would be $198. Ridiculous!!!! I told them it's been a month since they swapped them out and they gave me my glasses just as worse as I brought them in. She told me because my warranty is no longer valid. That "I can't help you", that's stupid. You should still be able to have that customer service to make something right especially giving me my paid product back like that. I'm at the point to take this to the BBB. They only started having this issue when she gave them to me..she even stated that. I wouldn't recommend going here with the cheap quality and the lack in customer service.

Very patient Doctors and Staff. They're very thorough and explain everything very well. They dumb it down for me and put it in layman's terms. Last year was my first annual visit with them after not going to an eye doctor for several years and I found a provider for life now

Dr Lewis was great. Thank you for the referral! Staff was nice but when I picked up glasses I don't feel that they were fitted correctly

I'm a long time client and have always been satisfied with alvernon optical and Dr cinnally specifically. I would highly recommend this establishment due to their attentiveness and priority in making sure your needs are met. They also price match and will work with you on prices at least on contacts from my experience. They also have a wide selection of designer frames with reasonable prices. Go check em out! You won't be disappointed.

These guys are great, I've been going here for years for my annual eye exams. They are also very helpful if you need to schedule something sooner. Dr. Jones and Dr. Cinalli are very knowledgeable. The receptionists really care, the lady who checks the eye pressure is so nice, I love her. I also have had really good experiences with the eyeglass-fitting staff. I recommend doing the Opto-Map as well, even if you have healthy eyes now, a baseline is SO important down the line if anything changes!

Dr. Fuhr is very patient and knowledgeable, he takes the time to explain everything. How refreshing is that when most doctors just want to rush you through your appointment! The staff there are also pleasant, courteous, patient, knowledgeable and customer service oriented which is very rare these days. Thank you Alvernon Optical for great service over the course of several years. I will keep coming back!
