Arizona Primary Eyecare, now part of MyEyeDr.

Dr. Nichols was awesome! Front office staff was very friendly and welcoming! They had a big selection of brands and discounted brands as well. Miguel was very thorough with helping me pick out my frames. I am very picky of what type of frames I wanted and he answered all of my questions and I was able to pick out a pair a lot faster than other places I had gone to. I'm bringing my wife here next week for her appointment and would recommend it to all who need help with getting new glasses or sunglasses!

My experience here has always been wonderful. The staff is helpful and kind, and Sarah helped me pick out my first pair of reading glasses! Definitely recommend going here for any eye-related issues!

MyeyeDr on Tanque Verde and Sabino Canyon, TUS is amazing. I had a thorough eye exam. I loved how Dr. Romero explained the whole process. Miguel helped me to pick my eye glasses and also a pair of sunglasses. I highly recommend this place.

The whole crew here is the best and the service is great. They all took really good care of me. There was issue on the lab's part with a mistake regarding a new pair of progressives for me. I was able to easily get the necessary re-exam to make sure I got what I needed and wanted. Through that process, and on good advice from my doc and the office manager, I switched it up to Eyezen lenses rather then progressives. I also, on good advice from the office manager, switched up my frames choice. End result? I am sooooooo happy with my glasses. Best pair I've had to stare at computer screens all darn day. Super comfortable and work great. Dr. Keith is amazing!! And Felicia, the office manager, is a rock star. Highly recommend.

Dr Keith was kind and thorough. The tech who prepared me for the exam, Erica, was kind and helpful. The receptionist, Nicole, was so friendly and kind. Miguel, who helped me choose frames was very good at his job and fun to talk with. The cost of the exam, an extra test and the frames totaled less than if I had gone to Costco for just the frames as I did in the past. It's now a one stop shop, very affordable. From start to finish, this visit and exam was easy and pleasant. I will definitely return.

I am disappointed to have to write this review after experiencing great service in the past... Dr. Grighten was a pleasure to work with when we saw her in May 2025.... March 2026 I call to schedule an appointment and find that this office no longer accepts ahcccs patients and the 6 month appointment check up after contact fitment will not be offered or honored if you are late requesting it.....and the office canceled/ never set up the appointment.... terrible customer service all the way around.... no way to speak to someone higher in the company directly.... just contact our corporate office and you may get a response in a week+.. I also want to call out the BS I recieved from the office manager at the tanque verde location who said there was physically no way to contact patients and let them know that their insurance is no longer accepted by this doctor group.. how about you task the AI bot you have respond to these reviews to filter all the ahcccs patients and send a letter or pick up the phone and make a call? Zero stars for customer service if I could 3 stars for services recieved since only half the services were rendered.....

MyEyeDr is now SomebodyElse'sEyeDr. I am sorry to be switching after 25+ years of working with them as an optometrist. Before they were bought out by private Equity, Arizona Primary Eyecare (and Dr. Richman before that) was always very customer centric and fair. Now, after they became MyEyeDr, they switched their lens manufacturing lab to a new (likely cheaper) one, which they charge more for AND they want you to buy warranties for your lenses to cover what used to be covered as part of their sale. Arizona Primary Eyecare would warranty their lenses for 1 year after purchase, when you had the "fancy" coatings. This is no longer- UNLESS you buy MyEyeDr's overpriced warranty (for a substandard product). Needless to say, the lenses on my new glasses scratched after only 3 weeks and they won't cover them because I didn't buy the warranty. The replacements for these 3 week old lenses is over $700 (even with a "Discount"!). I have never had an issue with lenses, until this pair. Another GREAT local business ruined by private equity! Sorry MyEyeDr, you no longer have a premium product that I am willing to over-pay for. My family will be taking our business elsewhere. See ya (pun intended)! EDIT -Classic corporate response from new ownership - go fill out a form on a website that says "*Please allow 4-5 business days for a response.". Next step in the private equity quest- fire all of the employees or make it so bad that they go elsewhere, hire a bunch of inexperienced new employees that don't care about eye care and then send out emails that say "we haven't seen you in a while"...

Professional staff, smooth experience. It's so clean. I appreciate all upgrade of "tools" they use for a very thorough exam. I worried at first with name change/ownership- no longer, they are just as great. We have been coming here for a few years and will continue to do so.
