I went in for my appointment I was 10 minutes early I waited an hour to be put in a room where I had to wait another 35 minutes for a technician to come on a computer. When the technician was finished I had to wait another 15 minutes for a doctor to come on. When the exam was finished I told them that the reading portion of the glasses that they were giving me was less than the one I have and that it wasn't going to work they retested me gave me the same prescription that I said wasn't going to work and told me it was because I have the beginnings of a cataract. If that was the case why are the glasses that I have better than the glasses that I got. I am disabled this is not easy for me to get to. And not only am I seriously disappointed with the technical service. I have to go through it all again because these glasses aren't right. They're worse than my 2 year old prescription.

My experience at the Ajo Rd clinic was great. The check in girls were very nice along with
the eye technician. She was able to notice that my glasses needed to be refitted and someone was there at the site to adjust them. The best part was Dr. Yuan Chen - she was so kind so friendly. I wasn't scared or timid at all with her. She gave me some eye drops specifically for staring at screen monitors and gave
me the green light on my eye exam. I felt great !

Visited Nationwide at 16th and Ajo in Tucson for my yearly eye exam. The visit took about 1.5hrs from start to finish but they were very helpful and pleasant. What is annoying is the automated telephone calls I had been getting telling me it was time for my yearly eye exam and to call Nationwide and schedule it. My exam has been scheduled since last year and next years exam is already scheduled.

If I could give them a zero star I would. Yesterday I went in to get progressive lens with frames I purchased in January from their Broadway location. I had called that location and was advised I could go to any location and since this location was close I went there. First I was told I needed a physical prescription I advised I had an email I could send to them. Then their next excuse was what insurance did I have I advised VSP they stated we are out of network. I had advised I was using my HSA account to pay for the lenses I just needed the cost. They then referred me to the insurance specialist which stated in the 17 years I have been here VSP does not cover glasses in a calendar year. Well my insurance covered new frames and lenses with my HSA. If they didn't want to help they should have said so. I will make sure not to refer anyone to this location.
