I've been a patient at Pima Eye Institute for over two years. Dr. Sanan and his team have been wonderful to work with. The front office is always helpful and friendly, both in person and by phone. I'm grateful for this great care for my delicate and important eyes!

My appointment at Pima Eye Institute was 12/12 late afternoon. I will be switching Opthalmologist after this apt. Most unprofessional experience. The front staff was welcoming but as I waited for my appointment a altercation was going on with management and employees and it was so unprofessional to see management got out of hand and how poorly she treated staff regardless of what is going on. No respect for a human beings.

New patient here!! Hello so this pima eye Institute on La Cholla was the most unprofessional place I could have went to with my Daughter well she was in pain our PCP did recommended this clinic out of the blue due to emergency. We will not be going back to .The worst experience of our Day. Let's start off about the wait "WOW" 2 hours to see a Doctor is along time. The medical Assistant that checked us in kept apologising for the wait so she did make us feel a bit at ease. I do want to say she's was very welcoming and had a good personality that was the only part of our visit that was pleasant my daughter and my self enjoyed her very much her name was Tesa I believe I also want to say she did look as she had been crying and towards the end we had seen a lady come out from I believe the back when being walked out by Dr. Teveres to the front to schedule a follow up. There was lady yelling at two younger girls one was the medical assistant that saw us firs that I taught looked as she was crying. While I was up front you could hear the older women with brown hair up with blue scrubs continuing yelling and cursing at the two girls I believe and maybe that's why she looked as she was crying before I would think then someone closed the door to the back where the yelling was coming from I asked to speak with a manger and it turned out that was the manager I heard yelling at the medical assistant and the other younge girl that had orange colour hair. You can hear ruckus in the back as something was happening .I just hope the two girls were safe, I did ask for the managers name from the front desk person and she did give me the name so I could call her and address my concerns? I decided to not call and write a very angry review the Manager is very unprofessional and her language is not appropriate at all being a manager I will be calling to speak with owner on Monday to let him know what I have seen and witnessed this medical place seems uncontrollable and unprofessional I will not be returning to this clinic again. I also want leave the managers name here since I did get it to report her and the action I have seen the Managers name is "Candace " front desk girl did state she is new and did not know the managers last name.

I chose Dr. Tavares for my cataract surgery based on many positive reviews from people in our community, who described her as caring, taking time to help make the right decisions on cataract surgery, all of whom were very pleased with the outcome even though each had chosen a various lens types. She was everything they said, and my outcome was even better than I had hoped ... 20/15 vision (uncorrected), most of my astigmatism corrected, and clear/vivid colors with no blurred edges on things. I originally went to her for a second opinion, but I was so pleased with the help she gave me in choosing my lens type, and how easily she could fit me into her schedule and make it work with our travel plans that I knew I had found the right surgeon. I will not return to my former ophthalmologist. I completely trust Dr. Tavares with all of my future eye care.

Had an urgent need to see Dr. Tavares however she was out of town. I was able to get an appointment the next day to see Dr. Co. Very thorough, explained my symptoms and possible treatment options followed up and asked if I understood everything. Great personality and I look forward to a follow up visit, Great addition to an already great practice.

I was referred to Dr. Tavares by some friends that had a good experience with their cataract surgery. I went for an evaluation and decided at my six month check up to go ahead with the surgery. She explained the treatment and options, I choose multi-focus lenses and glad I did. It turned out better than my expectations and the whole staff involved was very good.

Dr Sanan at Pima Eye Institute did my cataract surgery on both eyes about 7 years ago. I had Toric Lenses inserted, and was thrilled to no longer need my thick eye glasses after 50 years of being near sighted. A very caring and competent surgeon and eye doctor. And he just did my husband's eye last month. Have been going to him for 20 years.

Being a younger person that had to have cataract surgery, I was grateful that I had it done by dr. Sanan. I had extreme anxiety about the procedure. His staff made me comfortable before my surgery, & he did a great job during to make sure I was okay.. He was attentive and at the follow up appointment confirmed that everything went great and I haven't had any problems with that eye. I have my year follow up next week to check my other eye, & am not nearly as nervous as I was last year.
