I used up all my characters for my review on my main email. So for part 1, visit the person w the same name (different profile). This has been ongoing SINCE JAN 22, 2025. The owner called me on Aug 1 after I reported to the AG. His offer: to pay for a second opinion (exam) with another optometrist, reimburse me for what I paid for the glasses (my exam at stanton was free under promo that day), and comp me a pair of glasses. I had 1 clear frames and one purple for sunglasses. One employee kept bending the sunglasses over and over to see if it would help (which it never would because it was the wrong rx but we didnt know yet at the time) so I felt like the material was weak from over bending at this point and chose to replace those as the one free. They still feel WEIRD btw but havent had time to have them checked. I followed up twice w Ed about the reimbursement of my exam fee from the second opinion ($95) and after the 2nd attempt, this was the response I got. Well...thats an interesting response considering the conversation on Aug 1. This is a one party consent state. I dont play games and I come with receipts. Act w integrity. Doesn't it take MORE work to be acting this shady?
As a customer who purchased my glasses here along with my contacts, I have been very disappointed.Not only with the cost upfront, but the lack of support after purchase. I went in yesterday morning and I was there when they should have been open at nine a m. The woman who showed up late for work acted like she couldn't care less. I called the stanton phone number directly before she got there. and even the customer service department was unable to get anew one on the phone from the broadway location.
And to top it off, when I asked her to replace both of my nose pads because one was missing, she gave me an attitude like it was my fault for bothering her. She took my glasses and did replace one of the nose pads. However, she replaced it with a different size.
The least she could have done in this situation was to replace both with the same size like I requested. Edited to update my nose piece fell off again about 3 weeks ago and it has been cutting into the edge of my nose with slight sharp Pokey pain I'm going to head back today and hope that that girl is not still there to see if someone can help these glasses fit my face and can actually get me set up with nose pads

I'm giving 5 stars first of all because of the staff! I can't remember the young woman's name who did the beginning of my eye exam but she was so wonderful, helpful and sweet! Once I had my exam, Marcos was absolutely wonderful and really made the entire experience fantastic. I was able to find glasses (and sunglasses) that I really liked. Marcos answered every question and was so knowledgeable, it was such a pleasure to work with him!
The eye exam was very different, not bad just different. The online doctor was very nice (I struggled a bit to understand everything she said) and system was really very good.
The location I went to was in Williams center, the place was very clean and a great atmosphere.
I'm excited to get my new glasses and will definitely update my review to make this complete!
Had a very wonderful experience! I'm always used to paying an arm and leg for glasses / contacts but the promos they offer helped out a great deal! Edgar was very helpful and nice and I would recommend getting glasses from here from now on! Thank you!

Only one employee some young girl really withdrawn but somewhat nice. Seemed maybe 20 yrs old?
Anyway yes the exam is remote with some other young person on a screen wearing a lab jacket that says, "Physicians" on it. However I asked what is his title and he said, "Oh I'm a certified technician". Omguuuuuuu
One positive thing I can sort of say is they have somewhat better and diverse selection as compared to most places with ALLLLLLL THE SAME FRAMES!
This place tricks you though so be mindful..... For a long time promote two pares for 79.00 bucks. But only 3 frames to choose from like only THREE left on the rack!!! They were only red plastic frames. And one metal cheap frame. Twho whole walls and no frames
She said, "ohhhh. We rean out of those". (Of course they did) Just like others warned.
When I sat to figure out prices and final costs I was taken through a wicker basket of confusion. No way we are Not allowed to get this if we want that--- they have conditions with each choice and you're still ending up with pricy-er outcome.
I said, "nope....I'm gone". My last place was much cheaper. Guess I'll go back there.
I believe this place might possibly be a scam of some sort run by some last ditch effort owner who already lost other stores.

I was traveling and had issues with BOTH pairs of my glasses. I got them at a different retailer, but was desperate - so I stopped and asked. Marcos was wonderful! He fixed both pairs (in spite of them being from somewhere else) and would not even charge me! I highly recommend this Stanton Optical. Service was quick, friendly and with a smile!
I scheduled a same-day appointment here because I was experiencing some new vision symptoms. I chose Stanton because their website claims they check for serious eye issues. I've had 'early-stage' glaucoma concerns in the past and needed a professional to evaluate my vision, and they had appointments available that day so it was perfect.
I was shocked to find out - only after arriving and completing the first part of my exam - that there is no Optometrist on-site; the vision exam is conducted virtually via a doctor on a TV. Never in my life have I experienced that before and felt it should be something they disclose on their website or at least when you walk in. Despite their claims of monitoring eye health and vision, no one discussed my results with me. Once everything was completed, I picked out some glasses, paid for my order and left. I wasn't thinking straight as I had my toddler with me the whole time but it wasn't until I got home that I saw a note on my script: "Please see referral for a dilated examination due to imaging." This was never mentioned to me during the visit. Nothing about my vision or eye health either. When I called for clarification, the staff couldn't explain why, but said I would need further imaging at their partner clinic and they would email me with that information. I now have to spend more money at a different office to get the answers I should have received here. This is a place that prioritizes sales over patient health. If you have actual vision problems and want someone to take you seriously, go elsewhere. Not to mention, the whole time I was there, at least 3 people came in stating their glasses had broken. Some for the 2nd or 3rd time. All their glasses felt extremely cheap, and you had to pay extra for upgrades most other places have included.
Very disappointing experience.
Didn't even get my name right, lied about same day ability till after tests and services had been rendered. Reps tell me that only one of my glasses are available the day I picked them up, they said my other pair would be available the next day, then I get a message about 30 min later saying that my other glasses are available. I'm unable to drive cause I just had surgery on my hand, so my ride was already gone when I was told l my other pair was ready, even though I was already there 3ft from them. They didn't even look in the box to check. The actual optometrist is not even in building, seemingly outsourced. Only on a screen in the back room. And the only frames that fit into the deal, were dumb and looked stupid, extremely limited. Lucky I was able to find a couple that weren't ugly or stupid. Made me wanna just leave all together. As well as nobody having checked to see if they were correct or fit right. Def wouldn't recommend. Spend the extra 20 and go to America's Best and save yourself the hassle.
