Tucson Eye Care

As a new Patient, I was unaware of the Long Wait and lack of Communication from staff of this delay. A standard Greeting was not even offered. Our appointment was at 2:45, we weren't brought back till 3:30. The young man held a conversation with my Sister as if she was Uneducated. He asked why we hadn't completed a new Client Registration online, we had. This Staff Member insisted we hadn't, upon further inquiry he relented and agreed we had. While waiting we were not informed of a delay. Tucson Eye Center, why is there a standard of a Lack of Service with no Communication.

I have been going to Tucson Eye Care for a few years now after being referred to Dr. Seikert. Always a great experience. He's always happy to answer questions, takes the time explain and I rarely have to wait to be seen. The staff are all very nice and professional.

Referred to Tucson Eye Care by Clear View Vision after exam there. Both Clear View and Tucson Eye Care are scheduled specifically for being in network providers. After Clear View exam further evaluation scheduled at Tucson Eye Care and after that appointment Tucson Eye Care opthalmologist refers to specialist colleague also a Tucson Eye Care provider 6 weeks hence. Arrive for cornea specialist appointment and advised at check in they need a referral from primary CC are physician. No mention of this requirement prior and I admit difficulty in understanding why referral initially authorized does not suffice for subsequent network providers appointments when each appointment is initiated by network providers all for same condition and all scheduled at direction of the in network vision care specialists. Left facility without keeping the appointment due to lack of primary care referral I wasn't told I needed until I arrive. Very poor protocol in this patients view. In addition, when I investigate with insurance after this experience I am informed no referral is required for them. They advise the referral demand originates with the provider, Tucson Eye Care and is not required by the insurance. The referral that Tucson Eye Care doesn't tell me about until I arrive 6 weeks after appointment scheduled is their requirement only. Complete waste of my morning. Very bad experience. All the time invested for zero care resolution.

Staff is always helpful and courteous. The physicians I have seen have been tops in their field and good listeners. Never rushed or uninterested in my concerns as a patient. Dr. Siekert explains all testing and results with absolute clarity. He also takes time to perform a complete eye exam , which I really appreciate in this Day and age.

I had cataract surgery by Dr Ross a few months ago, and my husband just had cataract surgery by Dr Zangh yesterday. We're both extremely pleased with Tucson Eyecare and both doctors. I would recommend this place to anyone who will listen!

Dr. Emily Ross is the only physician I have ever liked in my life. I was on the fast track to blindness 5 months ago. After cataract surgery, glaucoma surgery, and finding innovative drops for eyes, my right eye went from 2025 to 2020; left eye 2100 to 2040. I can drive at night just fine now. Thank you Tucson Eye Care!

Had cataract surgery 10 years ago. My vision is currently 20/20. Tucson Eye Care has been great with all follow up treatment and appointments. Very pleased with them.

I had another positive experience at Tucson Eye Care. I had an urgent issue was able to get in the same day to see Dr. Zelaya. I was seen promptly. He did a thorough exam and counseled me on what I needed to do, as well as avoid, in order to prevent exacerbation of the problem. I will see him again in 4 weeks for follow up. I am very thankful that I was able to see him on such short notice and for the exam that he performed. I highly recommend Dr. Zelaya and Tucson Eye Care.
