Tucson Family Eye Care

Great experience! I had a routine eye exam done via scheduled appointment, but they do also have walk-ins available. I utilized the online scheduling feature which made it easy to set up the appointment. Love that they had weekend hours, as this made it possible for me to be seen sooner than later. They also gave me a phone call the day before as a complimentary appointment reminder. Dr. Ginman was cheery, friendly, and got me smiling during the appointment. He was efficient and professional during the appointment. We had some light banter that left me feeling relaxed and comfortable, like I was seeing a family friend instead of meeting a stranger. The front desk associates were also kind and prompt. I would absolutely return for future exams.

Although all of customer representatives and the Optometrists were polite and courteous it was a little short in presentation. None introduced themselves. The Optometrist just came in and greeted me then began the exam speaking in terminology unfamiliar. However he was pleasant and the exam was thorough. I was given a pair of contact lens for trial but weren't sure if they were in stock and did not have additional solution but offered where I could purchase and what brand to buy. I should have asked more questions but in general information about the lens and such probably would have been helpful. All and all the exam and experience was average.

We weren't greeted or checked in for 15 min after arriving. No one was even sitting at the front desk. Didn't get my exam started until 30 min after my scheduled appointment time. Filthy waiting area - didn't look to be cleaned in months. Will never return here for another eye exam.

My experience went started well but didn't really meet the standards. I was seen quickly. The doctor was knowledgeable but coughing the entire appointment with no sanitation in sight. Definitely could have worn a mask or simply washed his hands during the cold and flu season. The cleanliness wasn't taken into account. I specifically came for a glasses exam as indicated via the form that I filled out. I was asked again if I was interested in wearing contacts in which I replied that I already am being seen via americas best. Then I get the bill and I was still charged for both glasses and contacts. Although I came for glasses only. Double the price, I will not recommending this place to anyone. I won't be back to do business with this family owned company

I had an outstanding experience at Tucson Family Eyecare with Dr. Ginman. From the moment I walked in, I felt welcomed and well cared for. Dr. Ginman was incredibly thorough, professional, and took the time to explain everything in a way that was easy to understand. The exam was efficient but never felt rushed. Dr. Ginman made sure all my concerns were addressed and went above and beyond to ensure my prescription was accurate and that I felt confident about my eye health. If you're looking for a knowledgeable and compassionate eye doctor, I highly recommend Dr. Ginman and the entire team at Tucson Family Eyecare. Top-notch service from start to finish!

I returned to this Lenscrafters location after a previous phenomenal experience with the staff. This time was not the same. I asked for help picking out new glasses, was told to just try a bunch on. I further clarified I was overwhelmed and asked for more hands on help, but she just looked up my old frames and tried to sell me those again. After wandering around and feeling overwhelmed, I started to walk back to the first area to look again after 10 minutes and she handed me my prescription back and said "no luck? We can put new lenses in your old frames." I wanted new frames. I wanted help. Instead I felt forced out before I was done looking and will not return in the future.

Customer service was very strange and they have very inexperienced front desk staff. Made me feel uncomfortable listening to them talk about non work related things while I sat in the lobby. Nobody introduced themselves by name and I was not warmly greeted. This is basic customer service 101. I asked to used the restroom and they said no public bathroom but I was a patient and not just a random person walking in the door. I walked out and told them I'll just leave a bad review and they said "ok"
