I had an excellent experience at Tucson Family Vision Care (inside the Tucson Marketplace Costco) last week.
The staff in the front office brought me in exactly on time for my appointment. They were obviously highly skilled, and were quite informative. When they were finished, I went on the actual eye exam with Dr. William Kiefiuk.
Dr. Kiefiuk is a very meticulous, informative, and helpful professional. He answered all my questions, made sure he understood my medical history, and performed a thorough eye exam, taking time to be certain I got exactly the right eyeglass prescription. He also provided a referral to a retina specialist for my mild but troublesome dry macular degeneration.
And... the entire visit was covered by my Medicare Advantage plan, so it was a great FREE experience!
I will definitely be returning to Tucson Family Vision Care for my annual eye exams.

They provided me some samples. I didn't like the samples. I want to try something else or use my old prescription and they want to charge me again because it's been 90 days. Go elsewhere. My old ophthalmologist retired and they would do all of this without ever involving appointments or additional fees. Way too over complicated and overpriced.
EDIT: And, I just checked: it hasn't been 90 days since I got my prescription...

Dr. Wu is very personable and spent a lot of time with me during my exam. He is patient and speaks in terms that I can understand. I have not had any issues after an exam with him, and the staff in his northwest office. I will continue to trust him with my eye care!

The woman on the phone when I first made the appointment was beyond sweet and helpful! So rare to find these days. Dr. Wu was knowledgeble and professional. He fit me with a new pair of contacts which seem to be working well. He gave me the contact information for a retinal specialist due to an issue with my eyes. Although his office doesn't accept my insurance, the price for the exam including the prescriptions for both contacts and glasses was reasonable.
