I took my 11 year old in today for an eye exam and contact prescriptions. I thought the Eye Doctor must have been having a bad day, until I read some of the reviews post our visit. I never write bad reviews, but our experience was less than pleasant. I would NOT recommend the Eye Doctor. His assistant / office staff was great; however, without going into all the details, I highly recommend you STAY AWAY.

Left one star in order to leave this review by no means does this "doctor" deserve even one. Not only was he rude but he is writing FALSE prescriptions. October 19th I left in tears with a prescription I knew was no good, I then went to a different eye doctor to get ANOTHER eye exam which to no surprise was extremely different than what Van Smith had wrote to the point the other eye doctor was concerned. I returned today November 1st with proper proof and wearing my correct glasses to see if he'd acknowledge his wrong and refund my $89 but not only could you hear him yell "No" to his assistant through his door he wouldn't even come out of his office to explain himself. So much more to write but I'll save that for the board. GO ANYWHERE BUT HERE!!

He came in and didn't even say hello or anything when he walked into the room. Then he sat with his back to me for a good 5 mins then when he turned around he didn't have any communication with me except for better 1 or 2 or 2 or 3 the normal. When he was done he just handed me my script and walked out. No extra anything no questions just disappeared. Horrible experience.
