I purchased several pairs of new eyeglass frames with transitional lenses that darken in sunlight or bright indoor lights. I wanted a backup pair for normal use and another pair for sports and outdoor severe weather conditions. All of these frames and glasses are the best quality that I have ever owned. I was even provided with a free carrying case for each pair. The virtual eye exam was an enjoyable first time experience too. I have never been examined remotely before and the glasses all arrived in perfect condition with the correct new prescribed lenses in the frames in about one week. Mine are bifocal and made of special compounds with the added feature of being transitional and darken automatically in sunlight and bright indoor lighting. I received exactly what I requested and I am very pleased. I received mine the week prior to Thanksgiving in 2025. I strongly recommend Stantons Eyeglasses in Jonesboro, Arkansas

Everyone here is so nice! We walked right in and they got me back for an eye exam immediately. They have a great selection of glasses and were so helpful! Definitely go check them out if you need glasses! Its super affordable even without insurance!

I took my daughter there over the weekend, showed up at 10:15 for our 10:30 appt, waited an hour in the waiting area where a light was flashing like a strobe light. When we got called back the receptionist asked if we were using insurance, I provided and ID and insurance card then the receptionist proceeded to tell me I had to look up and show proof of coverage and email it to them, I have NEVER had to verify myself, i think that is something they should be able to do. While I was looking up my insurance I mentioned the flashing light in the lobby and the concern that it could induce a seizure because my daughter has seizures and she said it was bothering her. They then told me they couldn't do an eye exam on someone who has seizures, I have NEVER had a problem getting an eye exam for my daughter because of her disabilities. We got refused that appointment and I had 2 more appointments scheduled for myself and my other daughter and I canceled those. I will not go somewhere that won't help someone with disabilities.

First of all let me say, I've never been one to go leave a negative review. However, I feel like my experience needs to be said so others can advocate for themselves if this ever happens to them too. I made my appointment online, when I got there, they first asked if I could come back in an hour because the Drs were at lunch. I told them I would wait around and look at glasses option because I didn't want to have to drive back home and then come back so I would just wait. The girl helping me decided that she would just do my exam. She said she would do the exam and the Dr would be watching through the screen and could chime in at anytime. Ok, great, I wasn't aware that it was more of a telemed place but ok, here we go. We get through the puff of air and the pictures of the eyes, then we get to the exam portion. My right eye was fine, as expected, but when we were testing my left eye, I couldn't see ANYTHING! It was a big blur. I couldn't barely even see the Big E! At one point I said, "I feel like I'm being punked with my left eye" lol she just shrugged and kept going with the exam. We got through with everything and she said the Dr wouldn't sign off on my prescription because my left eye was so bad that he recommended I go see someone who could dilate my eye to see what is causing this issue. So I asked "well what did he see with the pictures?" The lady said, "I'm not sure, he just said you will need to see someone else". Didn't even give me a chance to speak to the Dr about anything! I said, "this just doesn't make sense. If I would be seeing that bad during the exam, then I would be having the same problem without that lense in front of my eye?" I asked if something could be wrong with the machine, she said "no it's brand new", so I asked if maybe there was a piece of film or plastic on it? She just shrugged her shoulders and shook her head no, then still charged me $25. lol. Well, I made another appointment with a different Dr right after than, went and explained what they said so she could double check my left eye... NOTHING WAS WRONG WITH MY EYE! My test went absolutely normal, my vision was almost the same as my last appointment which was 10 years ago so she said, I'm not sure what they were doing there but you eyes look healthy and your prescription barely changed... I was just so disappointed in how the girl at Stanton made me feel and wouldn't even allow me to ask the Dr any questions or double check the machine to see if something could be wrong and then still charged me. Also, I realized, once I got to the other place, Stanton didn't even alcohol the machines before they had me use them... I really hope they cleaned them before they allow other to go back and use them?? Anyway, I hope this helps someone and sheds light on any issues that can be fixed for others in the future. (Sorry it was such a long review )

Have been using the same glasses for years now was definitely a good decision to go to Stanton Optical in jonesboro Sandra helped me pick out the frames and the correct lenses I needed and Casandra walked me through the eye exam, both of them very polite and helpful & answered any questions I had. Would definitely recommend stopping by!
