I saw Dr. William Zachery Inboden last year (for the first time since moving to Jonesboro) for my annual vision exam, and he said he had really good news for me. He said he saw no signs of Fuch's Corneal Syndrome or even Macular Degeneration! What a great visit! The other 3 professionals (over 7 years) must have been wrong! This year, however, I decided to go to a different place (Southern Eye Associates, which I HIGHLY recommend), and I DO still have Macular Degeneration and Fuch's AND I'm showing the beginning stages of cataracs. If Dr. Inboden hadn't told me I didn't have those conditions, I would have continued my Preservision Vitamins and the special eye drops, but I didn't. And now the conditions are worse. So choose your eye care professional carefully and don't go to Dr. Inboden. Also, the office experience was okay, but the glasses were incredibly expensive (I ended up buying for 1/6th the price through Zenni Optical online) and I had a lot of trouble reaching out to them for an appointment. Also, they never returned my call this year (thankfully).
I had YAG laser in my left eye, Dr. Stank, (I had laser on my left eye to remove and replace my lens due to cataract surgery 10 years ago.) I could see no better, and will not go back. My medicare insurance paid 67.74 for the surgery. the Vision Care charged 1,168.26. My co-pay was $200. I am thinking, has America become like England and Canada? Their government healthcare is low quality, long waiting, and not excellent care. Now I am uncertain about any services I may receive with my insurance. I don't know the answers, but just trust God first.
My appointment staff and Dr Inboden were amazing! My doctor transferred to this clinic, so it was my 1st visit here. I'll definitely see Dr Inboden again, but I won't buy my glasses from them again.
The lady that helped me order my glasses was very friendly, but I can't help but feel that she took advantage of me. I have a very high prescription and have worn glasses for 45 years. Even though this is true, I honestly never researched what I'm actually choosing, as far as the lenses go. I feel so stupid now! While my glasses always tend to cost more than others, I've never had to pay as much as I did last month, for my annual pair of glasses. My insurance covered $150, and my portion was $450! I knew the cost was outrageous, but i just figured it was because everything is more expensive lately. I never would have known that I actually had "options," if it wasn't for the lady calling me after about 10 minutes from when I left. She told me that she had put in my charges incorrectly. She called to tell me that I owed another $100! I was honest, and told her that I couldn't afford that, and to go ahead and cancel my order. She told me that she was going to put me on hold, to "See what she could do." Now this is where my ignorance comes into play. Now, when I first sat down at her desk, and she immediately said that I needed High Index lenses with Progressive lenses. She also told me that it is now AR law that I have to buy Anti-Reflective lenses. So after a few minutes, she comes back from putting me on hold. She said that she changed my order around to a less expensive lense, and that all i would have to pay extra was only $20 instead of the $100. Considering that I was already getting headaches from my current pair, to go ahead and order them. After I got home, went online and researched my actual options, for next year's pair. I also read that she gets a commission based on the total cost of my order. She saw me coming a mile away! Now I'm torn because I've been seeing my eye doctor for years, but I can't condone what she did to me.
I went here for an ongoing eye problem. The person at the desk scheduled me with Wenger.
Wenger doubled the prescription I already had, which already wasn't working.
I was nervously trying to come up with questions to ask about the future when Wenger randomly got up and walked out of the room, then the other person showed me out.
They continued to harass me to come back, so I let them know what happened. The woman said she would look into it and then never said another word.
Then they continued to call, even after that, so I told another woman.
Then I responded to 10 text reminders, telling them to stop.
I even told them I was going to write a bad review.
Now we are over a year after the appointment and they are still harassing me with reminders to go waste more money at their hospital. Just wow.
The girl who took me back was amazing and so sweet! However, Dr. Young did not show the same level of care. The way he rushed in and out of the room for my appointment suggested I was an inconvenience to him. I will not schedule with him again.
There's not enough kindness in the world today but these folks are great. Had my eye surgery there and the nurses were great and the anesthesiologist was wonderful. The nurse that started the IV was great, I truly couldn't have asked for better care
Dr Wenger was out standing. After a difficult year of surgeries. I'm able to see again with the correct prescription and care. I can't thank her enough!
Dr. Harrell is a great Dr he did my cataract surgery and it went perfectly. I've gone to him for years and he will not unnecessarily do a procedure if he does not think it's good for you. He's very professional and explains things wonderfully. I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Harrell.
