Arkansas Family Eyecare of Searcy

My first visit was awesome and I recommend the clinic to several people. However, after my experience on 2/20/2026 I will not recommend them to anyone. I called and left a message for their clinic manager and sent a email to their website. No one has reached out to me to discuss the terrible experience or their rude staff. The only conclusion I can draw from the lack of response, is that they condone this type of behavior from their staff. Big thumbs down for me!!!!

Dr. Crum is an outstanding optometrist. She takes the time to truly listen, explain everything clearly, and make sure her patients feel comfortable and cared for. Her professionalism is matched by her kindness and compassion. She genuinely loves what she does and cares deeply about her patients' well-being. Highly recommend!!

I've been going to Arkansas Family Eye Care in Searcy for the past 8 years, and I can't recommend them enough! The staff is always so kind, professional, and helpful. Every visit is smooth, and they truly take the time to make sure you get the best care possible. It's comforting to know you can trust your eye care team year after year. I wouldn't go anywhere else!

Dr. Crum is my eye doctor and I love her. She is so personable, easy to talk to, and answers all my questions.

I had a good experience and good eye exam until it was time to pay for my glasses. I asked for an itemized bill because it still seemed expensive after insurance and I found out they had added a stronger kind of lens because I am half blind so I told them I would like that taken off it isn't necessary if there just for reading and she told me she couldn't do that I had to have those because I'm half blind. I then told her again I did not want it because it was unnecessary and she proceeds to say "well what if another rock hits you in your eye and shatters the glasses" that is how I lost my eye in the first place from someone chunking concrete at my face so that was an uncalled for statement. She then said I'll go ask the doctor if it's okay. So the doctor came back and told me I am a liability and I have to have those lenses because of me being half blind. If I had 2 eyes and the glasses shattered in my eyes it would produce the same outcome but I guarantee they don't force them to get the special lenses. This was very unprofessional and there could have been other steps taken than this route. I took my business elsewhere where as they only see me for a liability and not a person who'd like to see better.

Dr. Crum is so personable and professional. I got in and out quickly. Staff is great too!
