Pearson Eye Institute

If you come to this doctor don't get in hurry had to bring my dad to him cause he got something in his eye. been here since 1pm he walked in then turned around and walked out. He said we had to wait. It's 4pm now don't waste your time.

Im shocked by the negative reviews due to waiting time? Is your time worth more than your eyesight? or the eyesight of another patient? Easiest surgery ever! Left and right eye cataracts were removed and replaced with the basic Medicaid approved lenses. Professional and Polite is how I describe Doc Pearson, he's a Marine with obvious leadership skills. Doc is very experienced and trains area eye doctors at his Texarkana Eye Institute. Each patient's eye health and questions are more important to him than his time. He asked me if it would be ok if he took a quick sandwich break while we were waiting for my scan results wow! that is very considerate! I'm 61 with no known health problems and my vision is no longer dim or feeling like there's not enough light or like I'm looking around an obstacle to see. I will get glasses to tweak my vision, but I no longer squint and don't need glasses to use my cellphone or to watch TV Y'all made it so easy!! Praise Jesus for the success!! This doctor does not care about his patients time. I had an appointment at 9am. At 10 the doctor was not even there and he already had other patients in rooms one that arrived at 7:45 for an 8am appointment. So the doctor was 2 hours late for this gentleman's appointment! I overheard that he was running late but based on what others have said this is a normal occurrence and it sounds like he just runs late because he's the doctor and can do that. This is very unprofessional and i will likely not return.

How long does it take to dilate eyes? 3 hours and 45 minutes?? They called and moved my sister's appt up to 0900 this morning. We arrive on time. It is an HOUR before she is called back. The receptionist ( one of them) talks into the phone conducting professional and private matters at the top of her lungs. Sister says the entire process could have been over in 45 minutes. So what was going on for the wasted 3 hours?? I am not impressed with time management skills, not a well maintained clinic in my opinion.

Waited over two hours. Dr Pearson still had not shown up. Asked the girls if that was the norm, they said it was. My time is just as valuable as his is. Lobby smelled bad.

Extremely rude receptionist. She hung the phone up in my face. I called back and cancelled the appointment. Im glad I did. My daughter got treated by Minadeo eye center and it cost 400 dollars less. And the staff at Minadeo eye center was very kind.

Greatest place. Dr. Pearson is kind and wonderful. His staff is the greatest

Wonderful place. My experience was great from start to finish. The staff and Dr Pearson were awesome
