Update. I had that cataract removed for my other eye. It went perfect as expected. I couldn't be happier or see better I'm 20/20 again thank you Dr Pearson and staff. I do not understand why they're not more reviews and the ones shown are not more positive. Dr Lewis is an excellent Dr. He did cataract removal surgery on one eye the end of November and the second eye today. I believe my 1st eye had got so bad that I may have been legally blind. Up until today my vision is better in that eye than the eye I could see out of. I say until today because I had surgery today. Update to follow. Some of my appointments ran long. Sometimes an emergency can occur that can make scheduled appoints go long. I found that Dr Lewis will sit with each patient to explain in great detail the procedure being done the pro's and the con's. He will happily answer any and all questions about your procedure until you clearly understand. He gives everyone the same treatment. That also can make appointments go long. I bet you appreciate the time he is spending with you. It's worth the wait. He has a great bedside manner. He is patient, kind and has a good sense of humor. He treats his staff well. If you see or hear something odd, ask questions or wait and it will eventually be explained. Chop, Chop, Mondays are Fridays. How nice. He really seems good to his staff. If I lived closer I would apply if there was an opening. I'm determining he is good to his staff based on they all seem happy to work for him. I've seen him be concerned and caring for their well-being. He has graduation (events) for new employees that have learned all of their job duties. He is a talented musician, he's interested in ham radio, he has recorded music. He is well versed and a well rounded individual. I have never been subject to or seen rudeness by anyone there him or his staff. I've been there a total of 4 times. I've spoke with different staff at least 6 times. Always spoke to in a friendly manner. I will definitely recommend Dr Lewis and his team of nurses, medical assistants, (and the muscle guys)= (doing bed transfers) IV tech is the best, the anesthesiologist, and all the office workers. He and them are a great team . FYI If you look through my reviews I will give negative or positive reviews based on my experiences and things I have witnessed at said location. I believe my reviews to be honest and factual to my experience. I trust other reviewers reviews. I was very nervous and hesitant about going to Dr Lewis based on past reviews. I'm glad that I had the opportunity to go there and get the help I needed while being thankful that the whole experience was a 5 star and not the score 2 plus star rating from other reviews. I would hope other patients would leave their ratings and get his unjust score raised where it belongs!

The easiest surgery ever! The best experience ever! The best eye doc ever! Your eye health is important and so is the eye health of other patients, so please have patience! Doc Pearson and his staff are ALL outstanding. He trains area eye doctors at his Texarkana Eye Institute. I pray our Lord Jesus always guides your hands and attitudes Thank you I can see without cataracts blocking my vision. Just need glasses to tweak but I no longer feel like I need more light or like I'm looking around an obstacle to see. I don't need glasses to read my cell phone or watch TV... Oh I can see my keys now in a dimly lit room lolol Praise God for guidance to Doc Pearson

DR Pearson is the nicest Dr I've ever met besides my primary DR. My visit was really good. Everyone is so nice and professional. DR Pearson will be my eye Dr from now on.

I give his office one star because whoever makes the appointments is very rude. Time management is also a problem. We always spend four hours if not more for one appointment.

It's very hard to get a appointment scheduled with this Dr. The process has taken a while for me to be seen .
