The doctor who attended me was very nice and kind! She was very helpful and I learned so much from here. The staff in general were very helpful with my glasses selection!!

The doctor yelled at me for being 5 minutes late. I was there for 5 minutes and was told I had to go because the next person was there. Very confused with their appointment system. My last appointment went great so I wonder what changed. There's certainly better ways to communicate if punctuality is super important here. As other reviewers mentioned they do charge a little extra if you don't order a years supply.

Great staff, great service. However, they tried to scam me into paying for a years worth of contacts lens. Throughout the whole contacts lens fitting appointment, they assumed I would be buying contacts lens through them by asking questions like "Do you want us to the ship the contacts to your home or do you want to pick them up here?" Keep in mind, it's cheaper to order the contacts through an online service and I already knew I wanted to order them off somewhere else. However, they kept assuming that I wanted to order the contacts through them. When I went to the front desk to pay for contacts lens appointment, they ran me through the numbers and talking about how much would be covered by insurance. They said the total would be $35 since it was just for the appointment, but when I handed them my card, they charged me over $600 for contacts lens that I didn't want. They didn't confirm that I would be ordering the contacts lens, they just assumed. THEY TRIED SCAMMING ME. Do not let them scam you too.

Returning to this place after 3 years, I remembered why I stopped going here. They made me pay for a fitting session of the same contact lenses I was wearing for two years. Same brand, same degree/power for both eyes. What is the purpose of the fitting session when I was wearing this for two years. They said it is not possible to order your lenses without this session. But it is a LIE!! I just ordered it online and used my insurance to cover the most part of it. Avoid these people at all costs! They are just there to scam some naive students! Its a shame for UCLA!
