When I first visited Dr. Eli, I was in extreme pain in my right eye after seeing three other doctors with no relief. He listened to my concerns calmly and patiently, in no rush, and encouraged me while explaining everything clearly. Today, at my final appointment, he was genuinely happy to hear that I am fully healed and took the time to answer all my questions. Dr. Eli is not only an excellent doctor and gentleman, but also a kind and compassionate soul. Truly exceptional care.

Despite the many negative reviews, I decided to give this office a chance since there were also some positive ones, and because they accept both of my vision insurance plans. The front desk staff, exam technician, and doctor were all kind and professional. However, my experience completely changed when I met with the woman who handles lenses and frames (an older woman with short, curly dark hair). She reviewed my coverage incorrectly and told me I only had Medi-Cal. I found that strange because I had been called twice before my appointment to confirm my insurance information. When I pointed this out, she said that was "the front office" and not her. After, she checked again, and suddenly both insurances appeared in the system. When I asked questions about my copay and out-of-pocket costs with dual coverage, she gave me attitude. Her tone was unprofessional, rude, and condescending throughout our interaction. At that point, I decided to take my prescription and leave. I won't be returning, and I'd suggest believing the negative reviews, they were accurate in my experience.

I visited this location for the first time, and it will be my last. Although the employees were pleasant, they did not take their job seriously. I went in for an eye exam and told the young lady at the front desk that I was paying the exam out of pocket. She didn't even accept my money or charge me; instead, she handed me my receipt and had me sign a copy. Confused , I went to the waiting area, believing that I would have to pay once I was finished with my visit. After choosing and paying for my new glasses, I went back to the front desk. I asked a different, unoccupied lady if I needed to pay now and informed her that I hadn't done so when I first entered. After looking me up on the computer, the lady looked at the copy of my receipt on my chart and informed me that I had paid and even signed it. When I asked her again to let her know that I hadn't given the money to her coworker, she responded, "Girl, you want to pay twice." "Are you trying to pay for my lunch?" made me feel dumb for even asking. I didn't keep insisting after the other young lady who had arrived me grabbed the copy of my receipt and said I had paid, so I left feeling foolish and and confused because I knew I still had the money on me. I got a call three days later, admitting to their error and asking if I could go drop off the money. I'm a good person, I agreed, but if it had been anybody else, they would have made a major issue out of it and wouldn't have gone back to pay over the mistake of giving out the receipt first and signing the copy . This wasn't the only problem with my visit; the paperwork they printed out for me had both my name and address wrong, which isn't acceptable.

The staff is so nice. Doctor was quick and efficient. Major issue was with my glasses. I paid extra for better lenses and the glare is so bad I can't use them. I asked when I picked up today why there was such a bad glare and they said I didn't pay for anti-glare I wasn't even asked about it when I paid 3 weeks ago. Completely unusable, looks like there's a film over them when I wear them. Will be calling tomorrow for refund.

I got my new designer eyewear frames six month ago and already the black paint came off around the nose bridge. They said designer frames don't have a warranty. They didn't tell me that when I was buying them.So BEWARE!!!

I had the best experience! Dr young was amazing, sweet and explained everything in great detail! The overall team was amazing and kind! I highly recommend this place. I can't wait to get my eyes checked again. Thank you for your amazing service!

The staff was friendly and everything. However the doctor or nurse practitioner said my eyes looked fine when they have discharge burning and are super red and inflamed. I think they just want to give you systane eye drops to use for two weeks. The pharmecutical companies must pay them to do this rather than care if you have a serious eye problem. Not recommending this eye center due to the lack of human compassion. You are just a number going through there to them unfortunately that's the system of health care in this country. The only redeemable quality of this eye center was the friendly receptionist and nurses.

This place looks amazing. The staff is very friendly. They are very well organized. They accept KFHC. I didn't have to wait long for my appt, but they are getting more busy now so the wait might be longer now. The glasses selection is very good. They have a good deal for contact lenses: $55 for the exam.
