It is hard to find a good Optometrist. I have been coming here since before Dr. Shang was here I believe it was a different practice but since Dr.Shang I've had the best experience. She really takes the time to examine and explain what she is doing and thinking during the process. She also allows the time to voice concerns or question unlike other offices I've been in the past. I've been in contacts/glasses since I was 6 years old! And it's been over 15+ years and finding great eye care in Bakersfield is harder than you'd think. I will keep going back each year !

I was due for a new exam it had been since 2021 since I got my last contact prescription. I really like the new optometrist, she was very personable. Dr. Shang was very thoroughly and had patience for all my questions, she was informative and knowledgeable and made me feel comfortable asking anything I was unsure of. Got a new pair of glasses as well and made sure to get the right measurements for my pupils and face frame. Thank you to Dr. Shang for the pleasant eye exam.

And I had a left eye pressure was very high, she went extra mile to called my personal eye doctor to set up appointment because evidently my eye pressure was too high that needed an attention ASAP. I am so pleased with her professionalism and concern for her clients.
