I have no negative things to say about my experience here. The staff were professional and efficient and wait times very low for appointments. Dr Chahal performed my eyelid surgery-he was very kind and answered all my questions. Surgery and follow-up visit went smoothly, and I am healing on schedule. A nurse called me later in the day of surgery to see how I was. I am extremely pleased with the outcome of my procedure!

I had cataract surgery at this place about 10 years ago, and very unhappy with the surgery, preop as well as post op. Dr. Hair did the surgery and with every question, I was just "brushed off" and I felt like I just did not matter. Never returned and glad I did not. Also learned that Dr. Hair only used one type of lens for cataract, which was the single distance corrective lens. He does not use any other type of lens which was disappointing as well,

When calling for an appointment, the receptionist was extremely rude and she kept telling me wrong information about my insurance and the process I needed to go through to get information. After countless hours trying to figure out my information with my insurance, she was wrong on her end. After calling to cancel my appointment because they don't understand my insurance, they didn't even have me in the system. I went to another eye doctor and had no issues.

I definitely recommend this place. Ramiro is very helpful and you can tell right away he loves his Job and knows what he is doing. Very friendly definitely deserves a raise. Aswell the doctor that helped me she is very understanding and is knowledgeable

I just finished having an eye examination and an appointment to have cataracts removed and everybody that i've spoken to has praised This Eye institute and the service is outstanding , very efficient. I would highly recommend them to anybody.And that is something I typically do not do.They are great people and very Pleasant and professional !!!...Jbusby Bakersfield, Ca.

I have been a patient with this clinic for the past several years and they are amazing. Great staff and the doctors are easy to work with. Highly recommend it.

I got a call this morning from Bakersfield eye Institute saying that I had an appointment on Friday and they were trying to confirm my insurance. I told them that I did not have an appointment and had no idea what they were talking about. She said well it looks like you haven't been here since 2008 which was 17 years ago! I have never been to their Office to my knowledge ever. I told her it sounded like a scam and that she just wanted my insurance information. The gal said she would cancel my appointment and hung up on me. Not sure what this is about, but please be aware. P.S. This has happened to me 3 more times!!! I called them and they swear that they've taken me off of their records. I just now got a text confirming my appointment for tomorrow (9-3-25) that I did not make. I know that this is some sort of a scam, so I'm blocking all texts I receive from Bakersfield Eye Institute. They may want to be aware that someone is doing this to their customers.

5 years ago I had cataract surgery. Told them I couldn't see out of the left side of the eye. They told me I needed to see a Phyc. Still can't see!!!!! They didn't deserve 1 star but I couldn't get in without.
