I had a bad fall..Fractured my orbital when swelling went down and I could open eye. Vision was bad saw flashes of light and saw double. Call for a appointment, was told it would be over a month and a half out. Told them E.R said if I had those symptoms to see me eye doctor A.S.A.P. Was told by Dr.Hair office I must get emergency referral from E.R . E..R said they don't do them, but doesn't understand why Dr.Hair wouldn't see me immediately, because of severity of symptoms.It not like it's my first time seeing him Had cataract surgery there.

All in all I really liked the dr and the staff. However I had an appointment and I waited way too long in their waiting area before being seen. It was nearly an hour.

Dr was fabulous! Office staff rude and very unhelpful. Receptionist was even rude to our insurance agent. When we complained to Office Manager. She stated the receptionist was not rude to anyone even though she was NOWHERE around. I assumed they must be related. If you don't have to deal with the receptionist it's probably great.

Extremely unprofessional receptionist at this office. I was given a referral letter from my optometrist to see Dr. Hair. When I called to schedule the appointment the receptionist asked what the appointment was for despite me telling her that I was just referred there for eye disease. (I have a lengthy medical history in regard to my eye due to genetics and there are things going on with my eye that I don't even know the full extent of .. which is why I was referred to a medical specialist!) She told me that this doctor only treats cataracts and that there is no point to make an appointment with him because it would be a waste of time. I didn't know that receptionists are allowed to make these judgements for patients over the phone I was honestly shocked at the unprofessionalism and lack of compassion.

Dr Hair is very caring and competent. I have a genetic disease which ultimately destroys my corneas. I have had five cornea transplants to date. His concern regarding the need to stay ahead of the progressive recurrence of this eye disease is essential for my vision. He has been a true blessing for me.

I have an genetic eye diagnosis that's is dangerous and quite painful if not treated immediately and correctly. I had unfortunate experiences with two other doctors here locally in the past. When I interviewed with Dr Hair in advance of a flare up, years ago, he assured me that he'd help me get immediate attention with kindness. When I hurt badly, kindness is the first step in my healing. Well it happened again !!! I had to drive two and a half hours home to be seen. He squeezed me in his full schedule, educated me about new medications and methods of treatment, and gave me exact instructions at the pharmacy etc. But most of all, HE and his staff were gentle with me. It's frightening when sight can be lost and he understands this. I am so glad I trusted him years ago in preparation this flare up. He delivered on his promise to help me and I am on the mend!

Worst Dr office ever Took my daughter here for a appointment The lady at the reception was beyond nasty and rude to my daughter telling her she needed her kern family card or they couldn't see her. Why wasn't this told to my daughter when she made the appointment? She was coming in from a referral from Omni. Then my daughter was waiting for the Dr the same receptionist came up and told me that only patients were allowed inside and my daughter and I would have to sit in the hot car and wait until my other daughter was finished with her appointment this really irritated me how you going to make someone wait in a hot car never will I come back here staff is unprofessional and extremely rude

I never mind waiting room time as it means that Dr. Hair and his staff are attending to other patient's needs and that when my turn comes, they will give full attention to mine. Dr. Hair clearly understands how much info I seek before consenting to anything. Will post again after cataract removal.
