Alyssa is truly the best part of golden eye as she is a professional and respectful member of the team. She truly cares about helping you receive the care you need. Alyssa deserves a raise as she goes above and beyond for all the different residents that I bring to Golden Eye. Thank you Alyssa for all that you do for my residents.

This was my fourth time here and all the time I have been there the wait time had been ridiculous. It is always a 4+ hour wait and the doctor always give us very little information about the disease.

Quick appointments and professional staff. My 80 years old father needs eyes Cataract and droopy eye lids surgeries. Everything was going well until yesterday, I received the call from surgery pre-op, she said all 4 surgeries will be done in Pasadena. Each surgery will take only 20 minutes, but 2 hours preparation at surgery center. About 2 hours driving one way is going to be too much for my father because he has severe sciatic pinch nerves on his back, and he has to take high dose of pain medication. Unfortunately, I have to find different optometrist who will do surgery in town because traveling out of town is not favorable for my father. Thank you doctor Anis and staff. I hope one day, doctor will do surgery in Bakersfield. Thank

Zero stars but i had to put it to write a review!! Wasted time and gas for nothing! So i can be told to put a patch and nothing was checked out?! And if youre coming from tulare,exeter,visalia just go to tulare its the same useless people but atleast you wont waste gas, time is still wasted though!!

This is the Absolute worst doctor office I've even been to!!!! I wish I didn't have to put any starts because it isn't even worth the 1!!! I checked in at 7:30 for my 8am apt for my disabled father it's now 11:30 and we're still in the waiting room ( so we've been waiting 4 freaking hours)

I saw the reviews and I was getting a little scared that I was going to be there longer than I should, But once I checked in now, even within 20 minutes, I was already in the back my daughters eyes checked, then they sent back out In the waiting area and then maybe within 20 minutes, they called me right back and they explained to me what's going on with my daughter and set me up for the next appointment. I really don't see an issue with the office. Did see signs around the office stating your appointment might take longer due to the doctor being booked. or doing surgery and I also know from my doctor that my daughter saw doesn't live in Bakersfield only comes down once a month so I do respect the waiting time. If you know that you're going to see a doctor that doesn't live in Bakersfield then you should know that doctor is going to be overbooked and you should clear your day just in case, the doctor was very amazing.

Do you like rude staff who don't care? Do you like the threat of getting pink eye? Do you love the smell of cigarettes inside a building? Do you love waiting multiple hours being the normal? Do you love dirty, dusty, decrepit offices? Do you love mandatory eye dilation and being told it's safe to drive like that? If you answer yes to any of these questions, get psychiatric help. If you think this is unacceptable for a medical "professional", then go somewhere else.

I am looking into ophthalmologist to go to and this place sounds horrible. I am surprised that it's still in business, still rude and people still go there
