Before coming in to see Dr Matsunaga, I had seen two other doctors at another practice (Retina-Macula Institute - STAY AWAY), both of whom were impersonal, rushed, just horrid. I was concerned about something, and I knew I needed to find another doctor. Dr Matsunaga is everything you want a healthcare professional to be. He was friendly, personal, took his time to explain everything he was seeing and answer all my questions. He gave me clarity and peace of mind. So grateful. *The only negative about this practice is the front office. They could be friendlier.

I went to Dr. Boyer for a second opinion on whether Valeda treatment that was recommended by my retinologist would be good for me. Dr. Boyer looked at my medical records, gave me a thorough exam and told me I shouldn't bother with the treatment. This is despite the fact that he has the machine in his office. He was very professional and had a good, practical bedside manner.

The phone receptionist was very polite and quick to set me up with an appointment. Dr Boyer was very good I enjoyed talking with him and looking over my eye issue. We will be taking care of it in the next month as I scheduled, office was very clean all the help was very kind and helpful, a well-run office and I will definitely refer friends family and anybody that has an eye issue that wants a real evaluation and service.
