I had an appointment today and I can't say enough great things about my experience! The staff checked on my insurance status because I'm recently retired and didn't know my status and they had it all figured out! The appointment was pleasant and informative from the moment I walked in to the testing to the meeting with Dr Dhuart to the actual getting new glasses! The staff made it easy for an old man like me! I am so grateful for such a family atmosphere!!

On a recent visit with my elderly father, Dr. Freeland went above and beyond! He was so kind, compassionate, and considerate. He turned a difficult visit into a comfortable one by being willing to do anything and everything to help! Dr Freeland is great But his Staff make this place a ZERO STAR. My kids & I have enjoyed seeing Dr Freeland for over a decade But ever since "Laura" entered the staff this place is is Horrible. Laura is incredibly, disrespectful , fails trying to be sarcastic and treats my kids unbelievably rude. It is sad that we are now looking elsewhere for better simple kind and respectful service.

My first visit to see Dr. Freeland and found him to be very knowledgeable, professional, thorough and extremely personable. I would highly recommend him and his team if you need a local (Camarillo area) and amazing optometrist. The staff was great as well and was able to get me in last minute on a very busy Monday. Two words...ALWAYS IMPRESSED! We love how much Dr. Ross and Dr. Freeland, and their staff cares about their patients. Dr. Ross has consistently made great recommendations and always tries to make our visits comfortable. My daughter and I see Dr. Ross regularly, and my husband recently saw him as well. My husband, who hasn't been to an O.D. in over 10 years because he's the type of person who won't make a doctor's appointment unless there's a problem or he's in pain. While he took my daughter for her eye exam, the staff was able to squeeze him in for an exam too. Great job, staff! I'm so glad you took care of my family. Thank you for your patience, and always going above and beyond for us.

The last time that I saw Dr. Freeland was almost 20 years ago. After returning to Camarillo recently, I was in desperate need of an eye exam. I was moved by what a phenomenal care provider he still is. He is the perfect mix of a skilled clinician and a kind and caring human being. And his front desk staff are as warm and lovely and welcoming as they were when I was a teenager.

Both my husband, Kenneth, and I find Dr. Freeland to be extremely competent. He also keeps up with some of the latest technologies! The prescription for my sunglasses had a lab error, but Hiral made sure my glasses were sent back and fixed properly. When I had to go in to get the new glass frames readjusted to a tighter fit, Hiral did a super job making sure this happened even though she was busy with other clients. We are so impressed with Dr. Freeland and his Staff!
