My daughter has been dealing with eye chalazions for over a year, we used to see a doctor that continued with the same treatment for months. Once I decided I had enough And looked for a new doctor I read about Dr. Ragen and decided to give it a try. He was Amazing! I thought he would just look at her and have her come back for treatment but he took her of her eye in just one visit, he did not rush and try different techniques. He was nice to my daughter and had a lot of patience, he also made jokes and did everything to make her feel comfortable and relaxed. He sent her home with few meds and told us to call him with any question. The assistants were also amazing! I am mad for waiting this long to visit his practice.

March 19, 2018 was my 72year old cataract removal new lens surgery. Dr Michael Regan came highly recommended by a neighbor. In the consultation he spent 5 minutes accompanied by his assistant Ms Brianne. He examined my eye and said he could help me even with my macular degeneration and astigmatism in the right eye. May 2008 my left eye had a cataract lens surgery replacement. Three years ago I had acwuiacq intermediate macular degeneration. The pre surgery surgery and post surgery procedurs were done in a very regimented and speedy fashion. There was no time taken to explain the procedure or provide information to me as a patient. I am grateful for the surgery but do wish more time with me as patient to ask questions and time be informed would have been better medical care. Follow up visits to office lasted 3 minutes and with assist Brianna doing follow up visits. The finding of glasses after procedure was to be my own project...no help from the Ventura Eye Institute. Perhaps the three months follow up p visit will provide more answers and in the meantime I am hoping to see better..to see at all. And that is the main objective of this procedure. The office procedures need to be more humsnizeh and treating the patient with care not only a sterile procedure.

Dr. Ragan is very professional in his approach to understand an underlying cause to your problem. I appreciated his follow through and caring demeanour.
